Hi I am looking for a person that has any idea at all about Electrics. I have a Fiat 126. No air con, electric windows, Electronic ignition, NOTHING.
But I can't get the rear fog, indicators, headlights to work.
Fuses are all fine, Looks like in the past someone has had a try at fixing a problem and now :-(
I am in ESSEX Great Dunmow the car can not be moved at the moment so work would need to be done here ( Private car-park with never ending tea and Coffee).
I do understand Time is money.
many thanks in advance. PLEASE really want her on the road this Summer, I have owned the car 2 years and really want it sorted.

All tried, relays changed. earths seem Ok. Fused seem OK. I have ordered a new set of Stalks as most items run off these.

I have ordered a new set of Stalks as most items run off these. you really need a wiring diagram, and the tester that I posted above, then you can test everything, switches relays earths, and the wiring between all of them, I suspect that all the faults are linked, hopefully it will be the stalkes, but the purpose of testing is to ascertain what the fault is, before buying new bits!

id fit the new stalks and see what happens seeing as youve already bought them. if not i can fix it, but it will cost obviously, and quoting how much is like the proverbial bit of string.
i don't mind packing up the car with stuff and coming and doing it at yours though.

Mel, you can't fix wiring with one of your 27 welders. Still, if you do fix it I'll come and help you drink the beer as I'll be in Dunmow later.
You really need a wiring diagram, is there one in the back of the Haynes manual?

Many many thanks to Dez for sorting the Electrical problems. (Stalks arrived now Perfect).
many thanks to Hairymel for spending so much time welding upside down in the rain and for sorting much more than originally expected.
Great Job Thank you both so much.
