Is it worth trying to find an architectural salvage dealer for the fixtures and fittings? They might be interested in the leaded glass and the bar installation if it's decent wood.
Might save it from getting skipped and get you a few beer tokens.

why are you trying to get rid of the fire extinguishers thats something you need in a workshop it's the same as the gas bottles - I can use one or two, the rest of the stockpile is surplus mixed fire extinguishers (c02/water/powder) - many empty - about 15 of 'em mixed gas cylinders - about 15 beer kegs (large & small) 10+ pint glasses (3 main types) 100+ etc ;D

I like your thinking but it looks like it might be home for me for while - will leave stuff like that until dates are confirmed for redevelopment

Had a gentle scavenging session yesterday, now have a couple of rather nice extension cables ;D Starter kit : My old extension cable on 15 year-old cardboard cabledrum (bought as a 97 metre offcut when I worked at a cable makers ), another length of loose cable, a few rather nice metal switch boxes with power indicators (courtesy of my landlord who said "anything you find in there is yours" ;D), and a proper wood cabledrum courtesy of a local RR'r (many thanks ) Mix well and you end up with a tidy extension on a sturdy drum fitted with proper metal power socket ... and a spare flying extension cable with a single metal socket

Was talking to a local RR'r yesterday who is using a "green" c02 bottle for mig welding. The ones I have used in the past were black. Does anyone else use green bottles or know if there's any difference between green & black bottles (apart from black being "pure" c02, green being "c02 mix") If they're ok to use for "pure" c02 (and the local gas place is happy to fill them), it looks like I have about 6 spare c02 bottles for mig welding ;D
