Heres my 1985 Volvo 340 project that i cant finish because of work and moving out.
The volvo started off as a standard 340, which was lowered 40mm all round and has since had alot of work done to it. I have taken out the original 1.4 and fitted a 1.6l 4AGE from a mk1 toyota MR2 (1986 model) and made a custom adaptor for the propshaft and volvo mountings. I have also had a custom propshaft made which replaces the original prop. I have had the engine running and have also driven the car, until the original prop snapped from having twice the power going through it and can confirm its is rather fast and tail happy
With the engine i have also fitted a full 2" exhaust, rev guage, temp guage and bucket seat.
I havent finished it yet though as i don't have time with me moving out and working full time 35 miles away so i've decided to bite the bullet and sell up
I'm hoping to sell the whole car for £800 with the silver MX5 alloys on ( all with good tread) or £900 with the banded steels ( whish are also for sale seperately) which have about 5/6mm tread on the fronts (195's) and brand new nankangs on the rear (215's)
I can have the engine running for you if you want to hear it, but cannot drive it as the prop is out and it will also need trailered away¬!
Here are the pictures of the car, but if you want any more or any of specific items just email me on jrweightman@gmail.com
If it doesnt sell soon ish or there's enough interest, then i will break it for parts.
