Hmm I have a use for one, but there seems to be a lot of oil residue on the trumpets, looks like it's been breathing heavy, is there any chance of a shot down the oil filler tube, or even better pop off a valve cover or inlet manifold?
Could you tell me what compression ratio it is as well, should be stamped on a little flange level with the block face on the outside edge of the left hand cylinder head (block/head join)
Also has the distributoer got the littl black box on the side and/or DLM8 stamped in it?
I'm guessing it's out of a Disco by the look of the ancilleries dizzy ect, do you know what it was in?

HI there is only slight oil residue on the trumpets, i will upload pics of this when i get my camera back, probably tomorow, and the inlet mani and rocker covers off?? The engine is from a disco and the distributor has DlM8 stamped on it and the black box you mentioned also i couldnt find the compretion ratio but i will have a look for that again tonight, Regards, Mike
