I always always wanted a Scott High Octane. I always lacked the cash though, plus I wasn't very good at jumping on dirt, much preferred skate parks and street for some weird reason. My first bike was a Scott Voltage YZ1. Though my family bought me it and got the size they thought fitted me, so was useless for what I wanted to do with it, which was go high and sideways. Oh well.

Off to Morzine by any chance? We go every year, just after the Passportes du Soleil - can't get enough of the place!

I must be the only person in the world that CoCodamol did absolutely nothing for! Anyway, sorry to see your big stack. That's what stopped me riding, I don't bounce anymore. Hope you have a quick and easy recovery!

well good news guys, i have to go back to hospital tomorow to get my arm in plaster a hole week sooner than they were going to do it in the last week being as bored as i was i decided to try and take my bike apart one handed (not easy lol) so i can give it a good clean and replace any bits that might be worn or damaged so far i have noticed that both pivot pins for my break levers are working there way free and i have noticed very small stress fractures on my rear break lever, is I'm not going to be riding it for 6ish weeks i am going to save up abit of money and buy a set of hope m4 evo brakes with blue floating rotors

well guys it would apear that I am realy healing up nicely, so well that they havent put my arm in a cast, they have just given me splint and they think I will be compleatly healed in 4 weeks having a splint means I can excersise my wrist so when the 4 weeks are up I should have full mobility unfortunatly it is going to be a while before I can put any sort of load on it but things are looking up stu

cheers mate, as a friend of mine said 'at least it looks alot cooler than it did before the accident' on another note my bike is pritty much stripped apart and ready to be cleaned (not easy one handed lol ) it will also give me a chance to fit some anti cable rub patches as it has taken paint off in some areas

Could be worse ... I hit a tree head on on my DH bike and snapped both my wrists at the same time. My left is plated exactly like yours. Its fine now, never hurts and is plenty strong. It just doesn't bend back as much as it should do.
