ive advertised this car in the wanted section, but don't appear to be having much luck, so i thought id place the add in this section to!
I aqquired this car a while ago, and reality is time wise and space wise its not going to get put back on the road by myself anytime soon, so heres abit of a what is and a whats not.
engine and box, very good, very powerfull,no smoke, smooth gearchanges, hunts slightly when its warm but nothing major, not noticeable when its driving.
interior, rear seats are mint in cream leather, front seats are very good in the same cream leather, poor points are steering wheel centre needs re-attaching, and it needs carpets, rooflining is nasty, but hasnt dropped.
bodywork- very solid bar boot lid (have a spare which is solid but needs fillering) has one patch of rust on the inner part of the bootlid, cills, arches, wings are mint.whole car needs a repaint, its red, but its pink in some places and sadly being parked where it was, laquer has sufferd badly.
Electrics, this sadly is where the car has a few niggles, the dashboard bar the oil pressure light is pretty much null and void, there are lights on, but no one is home, electric windows don't work, neither do the windscreen wipers.
wheels-org jaguar 5 spoke wheels, in fair conditon, needs at least 2 tyres, probably a full set as its been sat on the ones its rolling on now for a while.
overall its a very solid car, it needs tlc but would go on the road without a massive ammount of work, but at the same time isnt a saturday afternoon project.
I would swap or any cool ford, but I'm open to old rwd british motors to.
it owes me 700quid, if I sold it I would like similar back.
btw car is located in chorley near preston in the northwest
