You all convinced me to buy GT4, although ive not got it yet. But, are there any steering wheels actually worth getting, or are they all poo? Thought i'd ask on here as I'm sure some of you have them, and i thought you'd be good judges of how real they feel. thanks. To keep it a little more car and a little less chat (after all, as already pointed out, we don't want this turning into VZi! ;D) heres a pic of a rather tasty porsche!!

Logitech Driving Force Pro is where it's at.
Only really worth it if you have a race seat/frame for it to be held at the right height et cetera...they're quite cumbersome otherwise.

Top grammar tips! Bought = purchased. Brought = relocated Lose = misplace/opposite of win. Loose = your mum

Yeah GT Force Pro is ace, steers about two turns lock to lock! I was waiting for one that did that. Loads of kick back too, quite a handful on the rally stages in the RWD cars. Oh yeah and there's a bit of a cheesy thing in GT4 for instant ace races, go into arcade mode (yes I know, bear with me) and you have access to a lot of the cheesy old superslow 60s/70s J-tin like Subaru 360 etc. Pick one and go on a rally stage duels (with an equally matched car, usually something like an old Honda Z600) for epic 40mph rally battles with no grip at all! The standard Fiat 500 is an ace rally battler too, it's superb fun, especially on the desert stage where there's a big hill and you chug up with the revs dropping and have to drop into 2nd and that can't quite cope so you have to then drop into 1st!! I wish you could set up custom races with the opponents of your choice, baffles me as to why you can't! Next time maybe. Have fun!

I have the Logitech driving force one already mentioned, really impressed with it, the force feedback really makes a difference. Highly recommended, dunno what it cost as my g/f got it for me for a present

I've got one of those logitec ones it feels great, my only complaint is it could do with a bigger wheel! Also you need something fairly weighty to clamp it to ;D

I use a small Ikea coffee table, seems ideal although the armchair is lacking side bolster support for fast cornering...

I find the only problem with the clucth ones are that if you have pants sound you cant get the curse word right.
My mate has this and uses crappy desktop speakers so it pant, however it works a treat with a 6.1 system and is really easy to get the hang of.

My parents got me a Microsoft Sidewinder wheel back in 2000 and it's still going strong!
If I was buying one now it would have to be the G25!
