They certainly look right to me, good find, can't be many of them left (may i suggest you put the word 'retro' or 'Bedford' in your title, as i almost didnt click on it thinking of Astra vans as pretty modern and therefore boring things...
Good luck with it, start a reader rides thread, lots of love for old commercials on here, I saw a Maestro van the other day cant believe i stared at it but I did!

Thanks lads thats great,normally a front wheel drive vauxhall wouldnt be for me but the capri is coming off the road soon and the van is really good apart from the obvious,and it was cheap and its on a classic policy.

Great find (were did you find it if you don't mind me asking?) i would love another one if I could find one in reasonable condition. The mk1 Astra owners clubs a good resource if you haven't found it yet. I would also advise a good look around as these have a tendance to bide rot esp at the bottom of the a pillar, the foot wells and above the fuel tank. I look forward to seeing this progress |

A mate of mine owns a scrapyard, i got it of him,just won some arches on the bay and got some wings coming,so will do a readers ride thread when i start it  |
