I use a spare bedroom as a home office but it tends to get cluttered so I've been trying to sort out some storage.
1 - Scanner storage, how many people have a scanner taking up desk space when it's hardly used Ido did.... Shelf pivots out from desk leg.

2 - mobile storage - when I'm working on a project it would be good to group all the needed parts together but also to be able to move it around. This applies to Lego but could be used for modeling, electronics etc,
step 1 - storage units from Asda (£5 each) and cheese biscuit box from Christmas, arranged how I want them

Ubiquitous dog in background, Basil, but he doesn't like helping...
step 2 - screw together some bits of old kitchen cabinets

step 3 - brace across the back

step 4 - add some castors and finished but boring and looking battered

step - 5/6 - create a jigsaw from old Lego set boxes, and glue down

step 7 - decoupage the rest with old catalogues, instructions etc.

Needs a final varnish and some strips added to the top of the sides.
3 - large display shelf with storage, this is a shelf (highly varnished) with surround screwed to the top of some storage units.
