Subscribers should have theirs today and I just want to be the first to say how brilliant the article Bryn has created about Simon and his cars. Like many, I'd never met Simon but had followed his build threads and his unfortunate passing. Thankyou Bryn for another piece of excellent written work; thankyou Becc for allowing the mag to visit and document all of Simon's automotive life and creations; and thankyou to Retro Cars for giving a platform for it to all happen. If you don't buy the mag, go get it. Its worth it. (oh and Mr Bizzle is talking about turbos, so thats another good reason}. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

I didn't renew my subscription but that sounds like good reason for me to go and buy a copy once it's hit the shops ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

I bought a copy today.
It's good to see HKP's efforts being appreciated in the mag, despite the circumstances.

Thanks for the comments guys, here's something that didn't make it in to the article for you. Cut from an email I had with Simon, "The Datsun is a '77 180B wagon in baby sick yellow. It's getting a ca18et from a silvia turbo, with an autobox. I fancied a lazy cruiser. I't's going to end up brown with arches soon." There are also the marks on the roof outlining a big roll back sunroof he'd got planned. I'm glad people are 'getting' the article and I urge people to buy the magazine. Not for me, but for the fact without it coverage like this won't have a home ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Picked the magazine up the other week but haven't had a chance to read it until now. Sat in the barbers this afternoon, waiting for a trim it was the first article I went for. So well written Bryn, I'm glad that Becc and the rest of the family allowed it to go ahead, its the perfect tribute to him and his skills and to the RR community. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
