;D Built this one up Oct 2009 out of spare parts I couldn't sell. Took 3 months to build, a few more to perfect. 1989 Ford Orion 1300 gl Stripped the interior out, fitted Recaro's up front, a flocked dash, Repainted it. Put a RS 1800i 130bhp lump in it with RST box and brakes. Originally on Mondeo wheels. Then changed the wheels for some 16 X 8 Comp TH's Loved it, but ended up not using both so sold it on last year as I wanted a proper daily car. Ended up being to worried to leave them anywhere. Final spec Bodywork Resprayed in Tractor Red S2 90's spec front bumper Saff spoiler Clear indicators Engine & Gearbox RS1800i 130bhp lump fitted RS Turbo outboard fuel pump K&N airfilter RS Turbo LSD gearbox Suspension & brakes RS Turbo front brakes RS Turbo Goodridge brake hoses Custom lowering springs Polybushed all round Wheels 16 inch Compromotive TH's ( 16 X 8 's ) fitted with 195/45/16 Nankang tires Interior 90's spec Recaros up front Retrimmed RS 4 Spoke wheel Flocked Poverty spec dash board Rest of the interior is stripped Sold to its new owner. It now looks like this Comps now roll on my Cat C damaged Focus Estate. Repaired by me ;D

looks ace!! is that a saph cossie spoiler? suits it well
also funny how the comps look big on the orion, but small on the focus!! still, they suit both cars! maybe higher profile rubber on the focus next time you need to change, may fill the arches a little better, could just be the pic though

I then wanted to start cleaning the interior as it stinks of wood (the material not the smell of a boner) best quote ever!

Where a Focus will take a 195/60R15 an Orion will take a 195/50R15. Either way, that was quite a look with the Cossie rear spoiler and THs on the Orion! I have always thought that 16s have looked spot on an Escort with 17s just getting a bit big personally.

That is an awesome car! Looks spot on, normally i'd say it needs a little bit more interior for my liking but i have to say that effect works well!

Cheers. It's great for it's daily duties. It's nice not to have to worry as much about it, but it still gets pampered for a old estate. It's just about to hit 18k miles. The main reason bought it. Ifs nice to have abit more time to work on the other Orion now which was the plan.

Sound, the early focus is a car you can run about in and not worry about. One of ford's best to be fair. The moonstone Orion is cool too, it's my wallpaper on my pc at work :-)
