Hi, I have been offered a set of wheels for a Metro (5), located in Carmarthen, South Wales. I'm in Peterborough but willing to meet elsewhere and make a small donation if anyone can transport. Any suggestions welcome!

If the seller is happy to hang onto them for a while, I'll be passing through Carmarthen in about a month on my way to south Pembrokeshire. Happy to collect them for you then and store them at Bristol if someone is then able to get them nearer to you?
Do they have tyres on or just the bare wheels? They'll fit either way, but just worth knowing?

Similar offer, If its any better I could get them from Carmarthen to Birmingham and store until you can find the next step of the relay?

I'm getting more impressed with this forum every day! Many thanks for the responses. For info the wheels have tyres and were fitted to the pre Rover GTA models (plus a bag of nuts). I have a preference for the Birmingham offer as it's more local, although I have sold a Jowett Javelin fairly recently to chap near Bristol and he's supposed to be collecting... Do you have a rough idea of dates? Vendor of wheels is flexible so that's not a problem. Thanks again.

No I haven't sorted it yet so that's a great offer - many thanks. The sale of the Jowett is not going well so I was going to arrange something with Brock05 for the Birmingham option. If you are willing to help me out that would be fab. I'll PM the details.
