Been looking for some new alloys for my 190. I was initially going to fit original 15" alloys, but was thinking of maybe going for EVO II's, however a search on eBay pulled up these and I was just wondering what peoples thoughts are - would they suit a 190? For reference, this is the car they will be fitted to (although it will be minus the chrome arches and the black rear spoiler will be a colour coded silver item)

Have you had a look at any photos of period 190 DTM cars? They were either running TSW Evo style or Ronal Turbo style rims and they look awesome.

I'll do a quick Google search now. These are the EVO II's which are probably number 1 contender at the moment. In black preferably...

Those (or very similar) in black will be awesome. The car looks lowered, how much? What size are the current wheels?

Cheers for the link DieselWeasel, will take a look 1001ab - current wheels are 15" and taken from a 2002 on model C Class. The standard wheels I was gonna replace them with are 15" too and are currently painted grey: As for how much its lowered I'm not sure tbh as its how I bought it. I do intend on changing the springs though (it rides curse word on the current ones) and the ones I'm looking at will give it a 45mm drop over standard height...

I quite like the multispokes on it, gives it a gangster style haha. but I do prefer the AMG wheels if I'm honest.

here's a chop I did years ago I like the flat faced wheels on these too, I'd go for compos but then I'm biased because I have a set

Multispokes look absolutely terrible if they are small, they will look foul in 15". Being black, they will look even smaller than they are, too. People have hit the nail on the head with needing chunky, flat faced wheels. Definitely worth going to 17" if you can, too.

17 x 7" rims will fit without any mods (et32 IIRC), but you'll need to keep to a 205/45 tyre on the front to prevent minor rubbing ;-)
