I'm selling the td setup from my jetta as I'm looking to go down the vr6 route
I have no idea of the mileage as I got the conversion with no clocks or paper work but it runs sweet and pulls really well. It's had the pump and boost turned up but this is easily adjusted back down to more of a standard setup if that's more your thing. It's had clutch and cam belt kit done within some thing like the last 1000k, the clutch is 8v gti plates with 16v pressure plate and gti flywheel which is a nice setup for a tuned td.
With the sale is the engine/gearbox with everything on it (turbo, alt, starter ect) also a straight through 3" side exit, boost gauge and manual boost controller. There isn't a intercooler on this set up but I do have one from (i think) a passat but no piping for it. There is also a spare td gearbox although I have stolen a out put flange off it but it was a good box that I used on my last set up. There is also a spare turbo from a passat gtd
NOT included is the radiator as i'll be using that with the next conversion and possibly the front engine mount. There are no covers on the cam belt as there were non on it when I got the conversion, ran it like that for ages with no issues. There isn't a td loom for this as I never ran one, I just had a simple push button for the heater plugs and then ran the live for the coil to the pump (simple way to run a diesel in a petrol car) the push button setup can be included, its functional but not particularly pretty
I'm looking for £200 for this. It's still fitted to the car and can be seen running, there is no tax and test on the car tho so the car can't really be driven
I also have a dsl-1 box (converts the w signal from the alt to a signal that a petrol rev counter can read) and a set of petrol rev counter clocks with a 5k diesel rev counter face fitted to go with it, I'm looking for £60ono but I will only sell if the engine sells other wise i'll keep it to go with the engine
