Just went and spoke to my mot tester who worked for eastgate Mazda back in the day and he said definitely buy it! He said that they rarely got anything wrong with them and he once took one to Scotland. Worth a punt I say, good looking car!

626 Coops are lovely looking things. You should definitely buy it. In fact, why haven'y you already? Buy it, then come back when you have.

I had a 626 saloon and it was great. Only think wrong with it was rust. Needed the rear suspension tops doing, and a couple of other bits. Great car though. Reliable as anything. Comfy and economical

Ive never even seen a 626 coupe so they must be rare, but yeah the old 626s of that genre were very reliable.

My uncle had one years back, sadly got written off when he was forced off the road by a car coming towards him on the wrong side (and didn't stop ) but he had it for a good few years with no issues. 1 of my mates had the shape before (about 13 yrs ago) with a BBR turbo conversion on it, went like stink

The most reliable cars I've had have been Mazdas. I wouldn't hesitate to buy that.

626 GD's are bombproof mechanically, but like to rust like any other late 80ties car.
I see this is the FE3 engined GT model, which means 147bhp on tap. You can get cool J spec accesories for them (as i did with mine when i had one) like a digital dash and oscillating vents

This is my GC coupé that I sold to my Mum: I did have an issue with the fuel pump, which I never did get to the bottom of, but I did love it. Bear in mind I had an N10 Cherry before this!

OMG....that video of those air vents! How much do I want that in my daily?? I'd have it on all the time. Gotta love Japanese gadgets. The perfect solutions to problems that never existed.
Mike, regardless, you HAVE to buy this Mazda! (even if it doesn't have the vents, it's still a world chock full of potential)

Ebay ad suggests a very mint car. For that price I would certainly have a look.
Parts might be a bit pricey and difficult to get, but when do you need parts on a Japanese car?

just missing the twr kit! TWR kit is awesome! The only problem you're gonna have Mike is once you see it, you're really going to want one too! Pretty cool huh? Dude, you've gotta buy the car!
