Hi,
I have a 2008 Ifor Williams car transporter trailer I am looking to sell or swap for a 3.5t recovery truck.
The trailer is the best transport trailer you can get. It`s a 3500kg gross, and weights 805kg. This gives you a legal carrying capacity of 2695kg! It`s a big trailer too, so will carry just about anything you want. I`ve had vehicles raning from Minis to landrover 110`s - Sprinter LWB vans - old Bedford & Dennis amulances. It`s fitted with a 13000lb electric winch with 2 remotes. These trailers are getting on for £4k when new, not including the winch.
It`s been used as a trailer, so is a bif mucky. The N/S light lense is cracked, and it could do with 1, maybe 2 tyres. It has a built in tool box, although I have cust 2 small holes in this on each corner for the wires from the battery to the winch to go (battery not included).
I don`t really have the need for the trailers carrying capacity now, so am looking for a 3.5t transporter. Make & model unimportant, as are miles to an extent. It just needs to look half decent, and be reliable. MOT is a must, and tax would be nice too. I can put a bit of cash your way too if the right truck comes along.
I`ll sell the trailer on its own if anyone wants it too. My price would be £1900 firm. These trailers will go for over £2k when on eBay.
If anyone is interested, just let me know.
Thanks
