I've been meaning to post this for a little while. There's a grey Austin A40 for sale down Spring road in Ipswich. No idea what he wants for it, just a phone number on the back window. Any takers?

Hehe, my first thought was "that price in the window is a bit optimistic...." ;D A project like that would be great - I seem to remember someone posting a thread about the possibilities of buying one for modding not so long ago!?

Me likey. I don't know enough of the detail differences to determine whether that's a Mk1 or a Mk2 from that pic. Certainly not a Countryman though as it only has the lower boot lid not a lift up hatchback.

That's a Mk1. I used to have a Mk2 with a modified 1275 in it (cam, webber, headwork etc) and loads of mods. Great fun car and I really wish i still had it!
