We did get the Mk2 2 door but they are rare as a rare thing in rare land. Loving that in the OP though Reinstated my love for the mk2

love the colours, the ride height, the amount of original trim. Love also the battered look of it and the fact it's a 2 door with a tin top. I even like the roughly rolled rear arch, because on this car it's right... but that shopping list on the rear window and the bare metal wing sit at odds with the rest for me.

its just one of those cars thats done well so looks great. never seen a 2dr mk2 in the metal though although pretty sure it would work pretty well on a 4dr base

There is some old codger round my way who's got a 2dr Opel Ascona GTS, which he uses on a regular basis. It's a bit tatty but looks epic.

There's not one, not two, not even three, but FOUR Mk2 Cavvy ragtops on eBay at the moment. I think I've only ever seen that many in the flesh!

Theres a mk2 ragtop up my local scrapyard,he'll probably want 400 quid for it as thats what he seems to charge for everything else,looked all there last time i saw it,just had an issue with the sump leaking by all accounts.
