There is no point in explaining what happened it's boring. The interesting bit is I bought this.......
It's a 535ise manual with an LSD and circa 350,000 miles on the clock (I say circa cause the odometer doesn't go any higher than, 300k and it's been like that since 2006). Its great plenty of power for skidding (with 3rd gear on the cards if my skills are up to it), loads of lock and excellent steering.
My mate who previously owned and drifted it has lowered it on supersprint shock and springs, and poly bushed most of the suspension. Other than the stupid paint job and removed back box the car is pretty standard.
So far I've altered the seat subframe as the seat was too high for me, removed the breakers yard livery and made a funky gear knob à la Mark Bognor style.
How it currently looks, photo courtesy of Mr. Damaged at the excellent Beach Party
As always there are plans (most of wish will probably be pipe dreams, anyway) but the important ones are:
Welded diff - The LSD is a 1-way meaning it's only locked under acceleration, as soon as you come off the power the diff opens up and the car wants to straighten up a welder is cheap and what I'm used to. Although tracking down a lowish ratio large case open diff is proving to be a little difficult
Paint the car - The car is lime green and although I like it, it will always be known locally as "Daves car"
Comment and abuse welcome ;D
