quick question on the dcom's manifold theres no take off for the vac on the distributor for the advance n retard do i A block off the vac hole at the distributor end with chemical metal or B drill n tap the manifold to connect the vac tube PS the tune of the engine is in a mild form (fast road) bit of porting not to hairy cam (sk3)4into 1 ex manifold etc just a good n tractable till it hits 4k when the cam comes in just thinking of putting the twin 40 dcom's on for more umph at top end andy

I'd drill in a vac connection personally. It's a bit of work but it'd be a swine if you got the thing fired up and it popped and farted as soon as you put your foot down, for the sake of a bit of drilling and a small copper tube  |

With Weber DCOEs (and Delortos) you don't use a vacuum advance. You remove and blank off the advance mechanism on the distributor and run a few degrees extra static advance instead.
