	Just want to make one thing clear, I don't read the Daily Mail . My manager at work is a bit of a Vauxhall nut and showed me this....... (Hope it's not a pearoast) A couple's first car is often linked to many fondly-remembered experiences from the early stages of their romance. But when Ian Stringer parted ways with his beloved red Vauxhall Chevette 25 years ago, he was unable to let go of his cherished memories. 	There's actually a decent enough story in there IMO, ruined by the paper that's got hold of it... "Mr Stringer has fully restored the Chevette to its former glory" and that first line "A couple's first car is often linked to many fondly-remembered experiences from the early stages of their romance." Bleugh. It does look good now. All credit to them.

	LOL, someone stopped me this morning (been using the cavalier all week) they took a pic of the car and we were chatting and he told me about this story!! Made me smile!! Good to see some pics too..

	That was at Boston show this year, the BBC filmed it for the local news. The papers must have picked it up from there. It looked great in the metal too.

	I'm surprised by the lack of claims that old cars give you cancer, or that immigrants caused the bodywork to rust, but that is quite a nice story...
