Love the pic. The Series Two LR Club actively report to the DVLA any owners of 'rebuilt 2as' that miraculously end up wearing Ninety/Defender body panels on Ninety/Defender coil-sprung chassis. They really do NOT like it!!

A guy who was coming to buy my 'B said to me: "Forget the 7 months tax you have on it, you can keep it, I'll put an exempt plate on. Everyone's doing it, you ask them...!".
It seems he may be right.

eBay allows you to report fraudulent listings which contain vehicle IDs without a vehicle.
Report Item>eBay Motors or Vehicle Related>Prohibited [banned] items>Seller is offering Registration Document without vehicle OR Vehicle Identification Number [VIN]
I've done both for good measure.

done, best case, these id's are applied to legally owned vehicles, just to avoid some road tax, worst case, someones pride and joy gets nicked and gains this id
the s2 club are very hot on this

Either some equally unscrupulus person had bought the ID on a 'Buy It Now', or someone has decided to mess the seller around by buying it and not paying for it, or will pass the contact details onto the Police.

it's stuff like this that will make the relevant authorities come down on 'us' like a ton of bricks and stop us modifying cars at all. Some people really can't see the consequences of offering this stuff in plain sight.

Some people really can't see the consequences of offering this stuff in plain sight. I can't make up my mind whether it's stupidity or an "I don't give a f*ck" attitude. I suspect a combination of the two.
