I think this has the potential to be a fantastic thread, well done for starting it. Heres an abandoned one near me (Sorry its a bike in the pics)   theres a joke in there somewhere about a oilfield and a fuel field sure i think of it later. |

Cool thread! I know of a couple in the nearby countryside that are pretty sweet spots. All the ones in the city are turned into Jimmy Grant carwashes within a week of closing.

'Dean' looks like he just put all his favorite words onto a sign. Makes you wonder why the older pump type ones are shut down. I would drive the extra miles just to fill up there! Like a boutique petrol station haha.

Currently driving a 1972 BMW 1602 as my daily. Don't ask about previous cars - there have been way too many and I stopped counting at 160!

The one off of the A5 is so close to me. I've been meaning to go there for a photo session since I first saw it a few months ago.
A good night shoot would be fun.

There's one on the A689 on the way to Hartlepool that I'll get round to stopping at eventually. Only slight issue is that it's very close to a house which I assume owns the land.

Nice location. Different car..... God I miss her. That's just up the road from me between Hungerford & Marlborough on the A4. I noticed its turned into a hand car wash but also has some classics parked outside normally. |
