Chaps, I've got a set of bike carbs for the 205, and a few bits and pieces to make it all work (well, hopefully ) and I thought I'd try making the manifold myself. I thought about making the manifold plate, but having done some fabbing on a gauge holder I realise that I just don't have the tools (or time/patience!) to make it myself. So can anyone on here make one from the inlet gasket as a template. I think the one I have for the Escort is 6mm thick so would need to be the same I guess! Have a pic Ta, Pete Edit: Sorry about the HOOGE picture, I'll shrink it down when I get home

I design for a boat builder in Liverpool, I have some pretty decent fabricator contacts that I could use. They may do it for free or for a small cost usually depends on the time constraints, I could certainly issue them a drawing see what thy say?!

Cool mate, I'll have to do some scanning, probably just be a straight copy of the inlet manifold itself. Would that do with some basic measurements? I'd obviously have to do something a bit more accurate for it to be done, but for quote purposes? I don't mind paying

Another contact for you, chap on xrtwo.com does alloy inlets, if you give him a gasket he can laser the flange and also let him know the spacing and some dimensions of where you want the carbs. can also add vac take offs. average price is around £150 i think www.facebook.com/pages/Danst-Engineering/111159768944900

I used www.whengparts.com to do some header flanges for me - as I was local he even came round and measured it up for me! £30 for 2 flanges (for a V8) - bargain in my book! EDIT: Seem to be £35 now - that's inflation for ya!
