We made the trip up to Churchill near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire for this show today. It is a charity run show and one of the charities is the Cystic Fibrosis Trust which we support since Isabel has CF.
It was actually bigger than we were expecting and a really great turnout of mostly standard and shiny cars but some really quite interesting classics of all eras.
Some pics!
Fab Auto Union! Check out the crazy dash. I've never seen a veritcal strip speedo before!
Sunbeam Stilleto on slot mags
Imp estate and van
1300 povo spec Mk 1 Capri in mint condition!
Now this is a period perfect hot rod though I doubt the owner would appreciate the comment. Its a bare bones earlyish Model T
More of this on Jonny69's thread shortly. 120hp Fiat Twincam!
Post Office van still with rubber wings.
Nice kinda targa roofed 2002 I think.
Morris Oxford 2 door woody. Needs a different kind of stick!
Supercharged Bugatti. Yep, pretty sure it was the real deal thoughout. The belt drive across the front of the bulkhead ran the rev counter. On the end of the main shaft is the magnetto that sticks through the dash!
28/29 Model A sedan was very original. Even the interior looked the well cared for original cloth os at least a VERY old restoration. mutter murmer mutter hot rod murmer etc etc.....
