First off I have a large car trailer (it is big too, fitted an opel monza on without major difficulty) twin axle, rough as a bears but tows well, perfectly functional even has a winch, but it's home made, rusty and ugly, has mudgaurds but one (both really) need work or replacing, has lights which currently don't work (should work by the weekend as I need to use it) so bring a trailer board. What can I say, it's a trailer that would take most cars, tows like a dream, looks like hell. £250 Engine stand, industrial clarke one, from memory around £100 new, £45 takes it. Only selling as the only engines I need to work on are a bit heavy for any stand! Collection only unless you can come up with a way to fold a trailer up and pop it in a jiffy bag!

Doesn't look too shabby - any idea what sort of weight it can take?

Not the foggiest mate, towed an MGB without even feeling it.
Like I say it's not a shiny ifor williams, but it's a functional useable trailer.

I'm not arsed about shiny - can't always give it a lick of paint anyway to make it look a bit nicer. I'm assuming it was an old caravan or something? Anyway - how easy is it to load and unload – especially cars that aren't running.
Could you take some snaps of the ramps, winch and stuff?
Thanks

I don't actually know, usually these sorts of things are old caravans converted, but it's twin axle, so it may well be purpose made I don't know, but it's that kind of quality.
Ramp wise it has 2 short ramps with it which are currently free from the bed but can be hinged on the bed. As the trailer is very low it isn't hard to load at all even with the short ramps (I call them short but they are still 4+ft long).
Winch wise it's a sturdy winch with wire cable and hook on the end, fixed handle so it won't fall off (as once happened on an expensive Brian James I had).
Really the only issues that I'd address are a rewire of the trailer board with some nice new wire (board, lights and plug are in good nick) the trailer also has side marker lamps so if cleaned up painted and all the lights working it would look quite nice!
And to complete the nice look a new pair of mudguards, last time I priced them up they were about £12 each, just been on ebay expecting them to have shot up in price but they are about the same price! Slap some paint on it and you'd have a nice towing tidy trailer.
I've got a spare wheel for it too. If you want I can lay my hands on about 4 more spares (rough).

With this information you're really tempting me!
Humm, how quick do you need it moved? You're a couple of hours away but will need to borrow a tow car or borrow a mate and his 110 so would need to see whats possible.
I'm assuming its got a working jocky wheel?

Well there seems to be a couple of you interested in it. From my point of view the first person to come up with a deposit on the trailer and then collect in a reasonable amount of time gets it.
It does have a jockey wheel yes, I need to fit it (literally just needs sliding in the hole) so that should be in when you collect it anyway. However it is well weighted anyway and doesn't suffer from the usual massive nose weight so it will actually push around without the jockey wheel. But I'll try to get it in anyway.
As to what a reasonable amount of time is, well I'm fairly flexible, it doesn't need to be gone by tomorrow (infact I actually need to use it on Thurs) but I'd like it gone inside a fortnight really, the sooner the better. But I am flexible.

What deposit you after - i don't mind dropping you a few quid to secure it. I wasn't thinking anything over 2 weeks for collection...
