I can pay any way you like, paypal or a cheque.
I'm actually wondering if I can combine it with a trip down south, I'll take the wheels regardless, let me sleep on it and work out how to get them up.

Oh excellent, so would you be amenable to doing a deal then? I'd estimate postage will cost about 6 quid per parcel using myhermes, it might be less. Do you have the centre caps that came with them?

If I could arrange a courier to collect them, or send you a label to attach to the parcel and drop them in to a parcelshop (there's one in the one stop shop on high street in Great Dunmow).
Literally all I'd need is a sheet of card putting over the face and taping on then the wheels wrapping up in a bin bag each with plenty of parcel tape.
Would that work?

I'm really sorry, I love 924s, I've had loads, I'm always keen to save a 924 which I was going to offer to do if you wanted to get rid of this one, but I'm afraid it's too far gone, the bodyworks shot it needs a lot of money throwing at it, the interiors nasty, the mechanicals are shot, the wheels are an abortion, it's been buggered to within an inch of it's life then buggered a bit more.
Take any useful bits off it, the seats would sell (although they should be put out of their misery really) the wheels will sell as the pcd is ford and audi and hopefully will end up back on a ford orion outside macdonalds. Scrap the rest.
The above is a bit harsh it wasn't meant to upset you but to get that thing back to decent would cost 3 times more than buying a nice one.

Nice old thing, 120 was always the pro film of choice due to the size, you could blow it up much bigger and retain the quality of image, 35mm is the best film for convenience.
If you get in to film photography the Brownie will be relegated to a lovely old ornament, get a decent little TLR and enjoy shooting in 120, but I do recommend you start to develop and print your own. I still have a dark room set up as I love my old film cameras, but to be honest it hasn't been used for a couple of years and I can't see me using it, if your interested PM me and we'll see if we can work something out, there is everything you need to develop and print your own films, although I can't remember if the spool in my tank does both 35mm and 120 or just 35mm so you would maybe need a new spool/tank which are cheap anyway.

Just to try to help the op a little.
Wire wheels come in a few different flavours, most "proper" wires are a centre lock wheel needing a centre lock hub to attach to, these tend to be fitted to classic sports cars such as MGs, you can buy adaptors to fit them to cars with bolt on wheels but need to keep an eye on offsets as the adaptor plus the wheel can mean it will stick out from the hub more than the original bolt on wheel, in other words they will suit some cars but not all, a good example is MGBs where the original wire wheel axles are narrower than steel wheel axles so fitting the conversion hubs to a steel wheel axle pushes the rear wheels out too much and they foul.
The alternative is a bolt on wire, this bolts on like any other wheel, they work fine, they just look horrible, some are better than others but they very rarely look good, the exception being lowrider type wheels which manage to look far enough away from a proper wire wheel to not notice the large centre cap hiding the bolts.
The wheels shown above are a nice looking wheel, but it's worth noting they won't be strong under acceleration/deceleration due to the design, they are a wheel for show. Anything with straight laced spokes as opposed to cross laced spokes will be comparatively weak, worth bearing in mind as wires do go out of shape quickly if not looked after.

Kalahari Beige I think? Nice colour suits the car, I have a big soft spot for these and have long wanted one to with my S2.
Don't suppose you would consider an offer involving a 3 series coupe 6 cylinder? Or an Mg Project?

Ah afraid I'm out then, they aren't quite the ones I'm after anyway but would have done a turn till I could find the leather mk2 seats I'm hunting.
Good luck with the sale!

Cheers Karl, shame the pugs up for sale too, guess we both got bored at the same time!
I'm probably going to end up keeping this, had no interest and it looks bloody cheap to me, it's just not worth selling for less so will keep it till next year it's just such a good car to pile miles on.
