As title really, type 9 box, removed from a 2.0 capri. Was in excellent working order when removed and has been stored in a dry safe garage since, no crunching, jumping out of gear or whining.
£60. Collect from East Yorks or I will be in the Lincs/Notts/South and West Yorks area on Fri.

They look pretty new to be honest, no fraying, wear or tear. The blacks still black too, no fading.
I'm only selling them due to a clear out and them not being used.

I've got a pair of sabelt black harnesses for sale. Good condition (non fia approved).
From memory 4 pointers but always used as 3 points.
How does £30 the pair sound?
Collect from East yorks or I can post them.

Fair enough. I'd have bought them for the quattro if they were a set of 4, it's a pleasure to meet someone honest enough to say they wouldn't drive on it!

Morning Gents.
I could do with a slack handful of bits collecting, the first load is a small gearbox (will fit in any car boot) and a roofrack from London to Yorkshire (anywhere in Yorks).
The second is a pair of Midget wings and a Maestro box from the Durham area to Yorkshire (more or less anywhere in Yorkshire.)
Of course if your coming in to East Yorkshire especially near Bridlington all the better but I would meet you out near the motorways with pleasure.
Naturally I am happy to pay quite reasonable beer money, it will cost me the best part of a tank of fuel to go to London and back.

I'm restoring one of these for a mate at the moment.
Full respray, full rewire, rip out original interior and replace.
If you need any help let me know, I've already discovered a lot of quirks to these cars, with regard to your overheating pull the thermostat out, Simons was jammed solid.

Evening gents, I am helping a friend out and clearing out some "junk" he has.
First off is a capri 2.0 pinto engine and box, out of a circa 85/86 car. I assume it is a "205" block? Anyway I remember the car this actually came out of it ran well and has been dry stored circa 8 years. I actually drove the car about 30 miles and the engine pulled well, didn't overheat or burn oil, didn't show any oil leaks. The box didn't whine or howl or jump out of gear.
There may possibly be a back axle (ratio unknown, standard to car though) will have to ask if it was thrown or not.
Closest offer to £100 for the engine and box, it does need to go.
Also for sale a set of seats (front and rear) from a Cortina, they are velour, non headrest type, similar to those fitted to carousels. Not very nice to be honest (sort of grey blue colour) but fair condition. £20 or any offer.
Capri and cortina dashes. At the very least there are the actual clock units, there is for sure a cortina "wood" insert in passable but probably mucked about with condition, probably a capri plastic insert too. There is also a cortina (mk3 I think) dash body. Basically a complete cortina dash and bits of a capri dash. Best offer? Circa £20 would be good.
Location: East Yorkshire, some of the bits are at my house near Driffield, the others are in a village called Leven near Beverley. Both locations are within 20 mins of the M62.
Contact details: contact me through this site or pm for a telephone number and I can chat about the bits.

Is the J type the single rail type? I.E. An exposed rod to change gears? If so how much do you want for it?

Do you know if the gearbox is in good working order?
Also is it the gold label k7ar code?
I'll have it anyway, whens a good day to pop up (assuming this one doesn't howl too!)
