Do me a favour and pm me about the single seater chassis, not desperate for the box actually (the valuable bit)
Also you mention bikes, any old 80's/90s raleigh race bikes? Eg. Record sprint or pro race?

I've had my 1990 Audi 90 2.3 20v up for sale a while now, loads of interest but no-one with the cash. My reason for selling it is to buy a car I want, I bought the Audi because it was the car I needed at the time, but now I don't need the rear seats or towing ability and I miss having a Porsche in my life.
So I'm really looking for someone with a 924 or 944 (or 924s/turbo) that runs with MOT and tax. Don't mind if it needs a little TLC I've had a lot of 924/44 series cars so know the cars inside out. Obviously if it's a 2.0 and it's a mess I won't be looking to do a straight swap as the Audi is worth more, but a tidy 2.0 would be fine, or an S/Turbo/944 that needs tlc.
So what does the Audi do? Well it's the 170BHP engine from the factory, now producing circa 190BHP, I have loads of spares I can sell with the car and the oil gets changed regularly (advantages of free oil). The car has all the sports bits of Bilstein lowered suspension, big brakes, forged wishbones etc. Full leather, factory sports steering wheel, hollow alloy spoiler, speedline wheels, triple gauges, trip computer, ambient temp gauge, air con, electrics all round. 6 months MOT and Tax.
It's huge fun to drive, to be honest it is a better drive than a 924/44, the gearbox is exactly the same but due to not being slung on the back of a contorted gear linkage is smooth as silk, the handling is fantastic, great turn in and sticks like nothing I've ever driven and the engine is gorgeous, loads of low down torque but revs up freely and pulls like a train, to try to describe the revviness of the engine it is very similar to a type r engine but it's got lots of low down torque too.
These feel very similar to the Porsches in build quality, very solid and well put together and a lot of the parts are the same, very strong family feel. This particular model was the S car of it's day, it came out before the S2 and well before the S saloon cars, yet it's very much that sort of car, it was the flagship 90 model and it shows.
I am slightly amenable to other cars, but it has to be RWD and coupe/sports car shaped, with the sole exception of a decent saab carlsson, a similar car that is an itch I need to scratch!
So do any Porsche owners need a 4 door Porsche? (because that's about what it is).

I'll need to have a look but I think I can probably do exactly what you want, if you want a pic just look up a rubber bumper MGB dash the plastic one and you will see the gauges, I have a set of black bezel gauges I think which are to the specs you mention and I reckon the gearing will probably not even be a million miles off a Metro.
£50 the set posted?

I think to be honest your best bet due to the vast variety of gauges I have is to pop me either a long PM over about the engine your attaching them too and the style of kit car etc. Or a mobile no and time to call and I'll give you a buzz, I have a variety of electrical and mechanical gauges, different speedo drives, and thats before you start getting to gauges with warning lights in them for oil/ign/high beam etc.

Ive got one for sale in the parts section. East Yorks so only a short drive from you too.
And it's not the usual light cheap one you see advertised. It does break down so will fit in any boot from a mini upwards!

If you can stretch the extra £100 then my Audi 90 is in the sale section, hell of a lot of car for the money, as soon as the scene tax starts hitting these b3 model cars like the earlier ones this particular model should go up in price as it's v.rare.
I'm also local to you just over the bridge (my old man lives in Lincoln, the Audi and I were down there yesterday!).
Does reliable comfortable power and handling in a modern feeling car with slightly retro looks appeal?

I've got quite a bit to clear out, I've tried to price most of it in accordance with the rules, hopefully common sense will rule with some of the bits (carbs) as it's hard to put an exact price on stuff due to the large quantity I have.
Right first up I've got a fairly nice set of cibie lamps, pair of lamps, although they are both oscars there are small barely noticeable differences between them so probably bought separately. Been in my family for 40 years or so, currently painted in mineral blue. Lenses good, have covers, functioning, reflectors not perfect but pretty good. Come on a lamp bracket for an MGB but I'm sure will modify to suit most cars.
£75 ono.
Clarke engine stand, not the little flimsy one the bigger more solid version, will take most classic engines no problems. I think it's all there. I'm only after £20 for it I just want rid.
I have lots of MG bits I need to clear out, from B and Midget, if you need anything just ask I'll have a look, however for now I have pairs of window regulators, these seize and break or become loose and slack with use, decent pairs for midget or B (I have both types) £10 a set.
I have a pair of racing bikes (probably of no interest on here) but they are based around a vitus 979 frame with campag gear and a ciocc (one of the italian companies, comparable to colnago or bianchi) with classic shimano gear. Looking for circa £150 and £100 respectively. Vitus alloy frame, ciocc steel frame.
I also have loads of carbs all SU, I mean loads.
I have various 1 1/4 HS2, can probably put some pairs together but would need to have a look, I think generally your best looking as these as bases to recon or for spares though. £5 each
1 1/2 of HS or HIF design, lots of these, singles or pairs. £7 a single or £15 a pair. If I find linkages to suit I will throw them in but they are very cheap to buy from SU Carb/Burlen systems. It's the actual bodies that cost the money. Generally these will be good solid usable carbs needing little or no work to use though.
1 3/4 similar story to HS2, I probably have one or 2 HIF44 but most will be HS6, I doubt I can put good pairs together but could supply a pair of bodies to then make in to a pair. There is no rubbish (sheared screws or badly worn bodies) but likewise expect to recon them. £10 each.

Sorry for the delay. Heres a pic when I got it, as you can see it's a nice trailer and a decent size, it's actually even tidier now.

If the hockenheims are 15" I will prob have them, do need to know what offset though as they will be going on my Audi.
If I have the wheels I'll have the clutch too as I'll have to collect the wheels obviously.

Tip/parts trailer.
For sale is my little trailer, I bought it about a year ago and it's been fantastic, never let us down and hauled stuff all over the country.
Size from memory is about 5ft by 3ft so quite a big one without looking like a big trailer, I've carried allsorts in this, Austin 3 litre engine on it's own, MGB and Audi engine and gearboxes and a load of other bits and the same time, I moved house in it even!!
It's in nice condition which is rare, decent hubs and bearings (it's unbraked obviously) new light board, hitch is all in good condition, wheels are straight but tyres are ready to be changed to be honest. I'd probably fit mini wheels on it.
Metal framed and boarded out with nice condition black stained boards, I'll get some pics up later.
Bargain at £70 but I can't keep it under cover any more and don't want it to deteriorate outside.

Right the time has come. Tax has expired, taxing it for 6 months today/tomorrow. Mot runs out from memory in April. But the insurance runs out on the 19th of this month, I really don't want to reinsure it as it won't transfer to my new car I suspect. I want a 944S2, so something has to give, that something will be the Audi and a pair of MGs, for space as much as anything else. Now the car has to be worth a grand all day long, with a fresh tax disc on it I don;t think £1100 is being unfair but talk to me, being critical the air con will need a regas, I was going to leave it till spring but most importantly it genuinely does only need a regas, no leaks, I depressurised it myself when changing the rads for the brand new ones fitted. So loads of new bits (cambelt, rads, brakes, etc.etc.), probably the best specced 90 20v out there (all the best bits of a sport and the standard car with the options book thrown at it!!) plus the car is regarded as being one of the best kept handling secrets out there. You owe it to yourself to buy it! Of course in the unlikely event you own a 944s2/turbo/cab and want to do a deal on my car and some cash your way then I'm happy to talk. £1100 ono.

Well I'm also interested in the ford fit alloys, but pictures seem to be struggling?
Also interested in the MGB clutch if it's the complete kit (plate, pressure plate and release bearing)
