I hate these threads...
...because I loved my old eunos v-spec so much! I will get another just as soon as I only need to ferry one child around so I guess sometime in 2024 then.

I think if someone photoshopped the roofline about 8" lower it would look fantastic, as it is it looks a little like the popemobile.

How campery (hmm, not a real word, but asking "how camp" seemed to be asking a different question) do you want your camper to be? If you just want something cheap (got mine for about £1k) that drives decently, is reliable and you can sleep in, then a mitsubishi delica is good call. Also it won't get stuck on the beach That's an L400 similar to mine, but there are some pretty awesome L300 examples floating around on this site

I've not really found anything of interest in cars until I got my Delica. Amongst a load of unidentifiable gunge, old sweets and chocolate I found about £7, 1yen, a current credit card, some very old business letters and what I believe is the original bill of sale for the car from a dealers around Tokyo Marina, although my Japanese is poor so it could be something far less interesting

I've had someone win the auction for my Celica last Sunday but has properly messed me around this week. This now includes me taking a day off work for him to collect the car today and when I phoned him this morning to ask where he was he hung up and then didn't answer any of my following calls. Anyway I've been looking at the possibility of legal action and it seems that if you are willing to put in the effort then the courts do view eBay auctions as a binding contract. reviews.ebay.co.uk/LEGAL-ADVICE-REGARDS-BUYING-AND-SELLING_W0QQugidZ10000000001449898and the process for making a claim is actually fairly straight forward www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcomeI'm just considering my options as I think the most important thing to do before considering action against a person is to see if they already have outstanding CCJs as if they do any action is probably not worthwhile. Anyone got any experience with this sort of thing?

I'd love to say swap, I miss my old roadster... but alas I'm getting rid of this for a much bigger vehicle.

The only problem with the 99p start no reserve let the market decide thing is that if the vehicle has a very small market (i.e. any less than two people) then it doesn't work. The hartge is awesome but it can't have a massive market so I think patience from the seller is the only way he's going realise what he wants for it.

6 hours left and despite a bunch of offers no one has actually shown up and put cash in my hand, so it will sell on eBay.

48 hours left on the auction and it's at £821 right now so someone could get a bargain!

Sincere apologies if this is too new, I realise it is borderline. Model: Generation 7 Year: first registered 03/03/2000, W reg Mileage: 138646, will rise slightly as car is still in daily use, but not by much as I've only done 2500 miles since I bought it. Former Keepers: 2 (previous owner since 02/2003) Tax: 30/08/2011 MOT: 25/08/2011 Location: Nottingham Price: Now on eBay! Contact details: In the first instance it is probably best to PM me on here or post in this thread, you can call me on o797698o529 but I work odd shifts and am usually not able to take calls while at work, however I will get back to anyone that leaves details on my voice mail and will endeavour to answer calls, texts are ok but if you ask a question that will take more than a couple of lines to reply to I will generally call you back at a convenient time. Anyway onto the car, I bought this in August last year it had been laid up since before it's previous mot expiry in March'10 due to problems with the brakes. The rear callipers were then refurbished, the front disks and pads replaced along with the rear arb links it then passed it's mot with no advisory notices issued. I've used it daily since and it's been 100% reliable, the only issue has been the engine management light coming on once. The error was #94 which generally relates to the post-cat lambda sensor, it was looked at (although not replaced) and the light has not yet come back on. Despite having a decent amount of mileage on it the car drives just fine, the engine sounds good and it comes with some service history and mot certificates dating back to 2003. I have just given the car a light service, oil, oil filter and plugs. Also in case you are worried the car has used approximately 1l of oil during my ownership. The tyres are all good (even the spare), the wheels are tidy and it has all new wiper blades. The body work is generally ok, the photos seem to make it look very good. There are three problem areas that I have noticed; firstly it's had a small nudge on the nearside of the rear bumper which has caused the paint to craze, there is an odd car park ding in the drivers door, the worst part of the bodywork is the front bumper as the paint is quite poor, it doesn't look too bad but a replacement or professional respray would be in order to make the car look great. The interior is generally tidy there is wear to the bolster on the drivers seat and the base (which can both be seen in the photo) and a few other marks. It has the original floor mats and a 10 cd multi-changer in the boot. The air-con is cool although not freezing cold and everything else works as it should. So in summary it's a fairly tidy, reliable and cheap way to get into gen 7 ownership. It's all original if that's what you want (except the wheel colour) but it's also a decent base if you want a project to tinker with and add bits. I would consider part exchanges with Mitsubishi Delicas (or similar) or very cheap small cars (with mots) and the majority of cash in my direction.

As long as the car has tax and you do not drive it without insurance you will be fine, there's no chance of points or fines unless you are actually driving the vehicle. However the vehicle could be removed although it is highly unlikely and if it does you'll just have to get insurance on it and pay for the removal charge. But as someone mentioned earlier most insurance companies will temporarily add a vehicle to your policy for a small admin fee, I've done it everytime I've changed vehicles over the last couple of years, they do have a limit on the number of days they will do it within a year though. As for the car cover... technically they're illegal to use on the road unless you make a cut out so that your tax disk is displayed

People just love to complain about things, and unfortunately all the different authorities are duty bound to investigate these complaints. This ultimately ends up with an awful lot of either awkward or amusing conversations with people who have done absolutely nothing wrong in the eyes of any normal self respecting person...
