Hi, earlier today my dad was telling me about his white renualt 21 quadra, that he sold about 17 years ago. The car was one of the ''BLX'' reg cars, and it had featured alongside a red quadra in a 1990/89 Car magazine. (he cant remember which one ) The white car (my dads) was G304 BLX, and the red car was G303 BLX (he recalls, may have been G305 as it was one digit out) I have been doing some research and all i have found out is that the ''BLX'' cars were the press cars. I would really appreciate any more info, and even a scan of the magazine (Bit of a long shot, but hey, someone may have it ;D) Cheers

As far as welders go, a mig that's about 150amp or over will do fine. Definately get one that uses gas, argon gas is a bit more expensive but seems to be better than Co2

IMO There is not a single (standard) car i could look at and think 'wow, thats perfect'.
Even if it's just they shape of a door handle or something like that, for me theres always somthing that could be tweaked and adjusted to make it 'perfect'.

Hi, i was at work today and i found a set of these wheels from when my boss there used to race stock cars.
The actual rims are a bit battered as you can imagine, but the centres are great, and i was wonderin if they were worth anything, as i've heard they are quite rare now??
Cheers

Sounds like its gonna look great then, i was thinking of red rims and whitewalls when i do mine, with matt black everything else ;D Next time your working on it, is there any chance you can give me a rough wheelbase, and also the length of the gap between the rear tyre and the rear of the origional frame (if that makes any sense ) It would be great if you could, as you know from that thread i started in this section i'm about to start building mine ;D Cheers

Thats what i was thinking of using, i've got one in m garage but its too good to chop (1978 with 7,000 miles ) But to look right, the seat must be so close to the ground, and I'm pretty tall so it would be a bit of a squeeze even with forward controls :/

I've decided that i want to build a honda 125 bobber, but i really don't know where ot start. Alot of the small bobbers are either (to me) to long in the rear, or look right but are ridiculously small :L However the cd200 bobber on here looks pretty great Ive seen some customised honda rebel 125's, but they seem to be pretty rare, so getting hold of one will be hard Any suggestions?

The best spray cans i've ever seen are called cromadex, they spray the paint like a spray gun, not it a circle patch like most cans if that makes sense With those cans youd pretty much get the same finish of a spray gun anyway, I'm not sure how easy to get hold of they are as i get them through a local metalworking buisness :/

Well now that you've seen it, your gonna HAVE to build it Definatly get some more picutres, if you take quite a few pictures at different angles it will be easy to get the wheels looking good
