Hmmm, looks like someone's swallowed a text book to me? Wasted spark and batch fire isn't the way I'm doing it but it's fine for most production cars so why not good enough for this? I agree, closed loop boost controller a must although I would worry more about the inlet tract and poor flow characteristics and starving or robbing boost from adjacent trumpets and inlets in the plenum rather than boost creep and exhaust size. It's an FI engine so unless you have a pee shooter exhaust it's being forced out so diameter isn't THAT critical. So far, it all looks good enough to me for a road car. Are you fitting forged Pistons? What CR and boost you running?

As cylinders 3 to 8 are inside the car, I had to move the dash back to accomodate the motor. So I took the stock moggy dash and cut it into 3 and removed the speedo, then joined it together to keep the moggy essence I then rolled up and ripped a panel up to take up the gap between the bulkhead and the dash, bloody compound curves!!!! And rolled in the beads I removed the glove boxes and filled them with panels to mount the Tvr gauges. The rational behind it irks that I can use the Tvr instrument loom and warning lights so that all the dials and lights were a straight swap And fitted looks like this The whole thing has to be removable to get to the rear of the engine too

I do for the moment but I'm unsure if it does as tvrs speed sensor pickup is on the prop. Very early ones had mechanical speedo drives before they switched to electronic units. The one pictured in my post is from a very early one and would be fitted to the right hand side of the tailhousing. If your car had electronic speedo it will have a blanking plug there instead. I'll have a look next time I'm up my workshop. I think it's a blank though

Here's a couple of pics showing the front end stretch. I also sectioned the bumpers to make them wider too and to carry on the curves and effectively make it look different, but to the average person they can't quite work out what's different. Almost a moggy on steroids or a British Touring Moggy that was never made You can see how much I've put in the wings and bumpers And fitted the overrides too And the rears too Bumper std width Widened

I think the easiest way to explain how awesome this is would be by liking every post you put up. Is it possibly the most extreme morris minor ever? It even currently sits on my favourite 90's wheel, the Team Dynamics Diablo. Amazing. Thank you very much. The tolling chassis came with the wheels which I didn't like at first but think they suit the car ππΌ

This is brilliant, love the noise. I wish I had the balls to turbo the RV8 in my TVR 350i. I've fitted twin turbos to several V8's, check out my twin turbo moggy thread that's a Tvr motor ππΌ

Here's a few pics with it on the chassis table at intergalactic, having roll cage fitted, chassis strengthened and tied in to make it nice and stiffππΌ No room for hoop at B posts so the hoop was moved back as the car's a BSD

About 300-350hp with 8 psi boost, 400 with 10 psi. That's all without the 200 shot of sniff. Oh, I forgot to add, it's got variable boost too π
