I am trying to repair a 1998-2001 model Electrique. This is a factory full electric van which runs wet NiCD batteries and a DC motor. I am looking for electronic parts from under the bonnet. Does anyone know of any of these vans sat about, in breakers etc, for sale or for spares?
They are very rare, only 50 or so in the UK as far as I know.

There was also a Saxo and Peugeot 106 Elecrique (Not sold in UK as far as I know) so please keep your eyes peeled for those too.

i was thinking about this recently, having tubes under the car, you push a set of charged cells in, and it pushes the old ones out. however I'm sure the average single journey length in UK is something like 8 miles. an EV will cover 95% of what you need a car for, and the other 5%, use something else, borrow someones car, get a lift.
I urge anyone to drive a Tesla or even a Leaf. It really is an eye-opener.

I drive an EV as my daily, I am on my 3rd one as I've always liked to change cars just to see what else is out there. Current daily is a 2015 Nissan electric van. I am a convert to EVs, but what got me started?

Having seen what oil exploration (and burning) does around the world I have really changed over the last 5 years or so into an eco-friendly vegetarian plastic-avoiding environmental activist I got my first EV (a cheap 2003 Citroen) so as to not be a hypocrite turning up to meetings/demonstrations etc, and I liked the relaxing silence and the fact my EV was mot and tax exempt, but I didn't expect to love it so much.
I then put in solar panels at home so I can often charge up for free as well. (actually, charging at rapid chargers at services etc is free as well )

It has made me want to do an EV conversion to an old car now, so i can get the acceleration, low running cost, reduced maintenance and other benefits such as instant heating, never having to go to petrol stations, and not having to buy brake pads, exhausts, belts, oil, filters, plugs, gaskets, etc.

Just got to decide what vehicle to convert, and how, and how much money to throw at it, it ain't cheap!

Alloy wheels. Clean body apart from the bumpers. Even the interior is pretty good. Runs and pulls well but needs attention to brakes and exhaust is blowing. MOT ran out a year ago.

Comes with its its rear parcel shelf and handbook.

Sighting at 5am on the London bound A299 (new Thanet Way) just before the Chestfield Tunnel. Looks like it was driven away now! Black rough Clio appeared when Datsun dissapeared in the layby. So is this the thieves car?

Rare MANUAL , they nearly always seem to be auto.
