Caddy is definitely a hearse (Deaddaves), Red Monza fading is due to a poor pigment in an expensive respray and six years sitting on a driveway, white Monza was still in many, many pieces without paint 7 days before The Gathering! This was its first outing.
Good selection of pictures though. I like the Starion very much and there are still pictures turning up of things I didn't see I the metal, same every year. I must have my eyes shut.

Same here, think between us we filled 3 with our rubbish and another 3 with other peoples.
Still not beyond human capability to put things (that aren't on fire) into a skip, even if they aren't in a bin bag.

While we were packing up Kev and his helpers did at least TWO truckloads of debris. This really annoys me and as I get older and grumpier it annoys me more. I'd also like to point out that some plonker in a silver Mk1 Golf decided to spend some time spinning around with the handbrake on, well done, as did someone in a bubble Micra which I believe had been on its side at some stage. Nice work douchebags . On another note, you may have invested all your pocket money on a nice radio stereo cassette and all the trimmings but that doesn't mean the rest of us want to hear just the bass section of your curse word music. No need. That said, the noise levels were more sensible this year than last. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR ALL THE DEBRIS LEFT AROUND THE CAMPSITE OR THE SHOW FIELD. Aside from that, had an absolute blast again this year. Thanks to all involved in organising and running the best show of the year. Sent from grump towers using proboards

What is it? We are a bit short of space inside our cars but might be able to tie stuff to the roof *possibly*

My word this is tiring. Today, things escalated somewhat. This fell out. Some primer got sloshed onto this and this Seem to have avoided any nasty paint reactions which is nice. I'm tired and I have hardly seen my wife since I started this thing. Sent from tired using proboards

For under 1k you can get a TD5 but you shouldn't.
The chassis rot like you wouldn't believe, they have some electrical and electronic issues and the repair costs are frightening.
A TDI is a good, basic and capable machine. Chassis are normally totally solid but expect body rot any and everywhere. Maintenance is pennies though and spares are very common. It's the most SORNed car in the country!
There are plenty with air con but much more likely 300 than 200.
They'll crunch into second for 50k before you really need a gearbag, the auto is dumb but a much nicer drive, who wants to change gear in a lorry?
Mileage is unimportant.
3.5 ton towing limit is handy.
Occasional laning fun is.... fun.
25 - 30mpg no probs.
