Will be interesting to see how it pans out. Hopefully well.
Covering established classics means established specialists and hence a greater amount of potential advertisers, so there's always going to be that in the mix. Getting advertisers to invest in a niche, multi-brand mag is always an issue as obviously, unless they stock a whole range of items, their products will only appeal to very a small percentage of a readership that on reflection is already small.
As someone already mentioned, I expect much of the content was already 'in stock' and the rest borrowed from other Kelsey mags, purely to meet the tight deadlines involved in a monthly magazine production schedule.
Kelsey are successful in niche publishing but as I understand it the budgets for contributors are far from high, which of course is necessary to help them stay afloat and run magazines as a profitable business. Hopefully this won't lead to a drop in the quality of the photography or the writing though.

Very cool. Banded steels and Cinnabar Red paint (think that's the shade?) look great. I learnt to drive in an A-reg City in the same colour all of 20 years ago - big bus wheel and not even a passenger wing mirror. Here's mine if the pic works. Looks nicer than it is, but I like throwing good money after bad at it... img18.imageshack.us/img18/8524/ee5j.jpg"]

Hmmm, getting drawn to the GTi model. Is there any damage to it/overall condition?

Hi,
I'd like to come along this year (really should as only in Gloucester...) with my 6-year-old son. Do I need to buy a ticket for him or is there anything like under 12s free etc?
Also, Retro Parking. Is this easy to access/drive onto eg not too much of a queue, bumpy/muddy (although obviously you don't know how muddy until the time comes) etc and would my car qualify - 1986 MG Metro Turbo?
Many thanks

Right, after a quick read up on how to measure PCD, I've measured these from the centre of one stud to the centre of the opposite one and it looks to be 95mm.
Thanks.

Worst case scenario, would you be able to break it for the £1500 if it all turned sour?

Oops, forgot to add, sorry no 4th centre cap and I'm afraid no idea on the PCD. I'll have a check for any further info on the back and let you know.

Bryn, I'll pm you now. Guess I'll have to go mates rates then on these if you're interested. After all, you did sort me out with that Maestro Turbo...

Yes, I do need to change it too! Sorry, but how exactly do you do it? I couldn't see anything like 'Get picture' when I logged in and clicked on it, just 'save as' etc.

Image 6x13 inch split rims x5 and Yokohama Advan tyres - £250 - Glos Okay, I know very little about these and will try and answer any questions anyone has. I bought these off a chap who ran them on a Banks Europa (Lotus), I think for hillclimbing etc. I knew they were made by Image which is renowned for split rims but I thought they were one-piece at first glance. Turning them over there are plenty of bolts though, so it looks like a three-piece design?! I was told the sizing is 6x13, which seems about right as they’re wearing 185/60/13 (the same width tyres that the 5.5x13s have on my Metro Turbo) Yokohama Advan track rubber which have a bit of tread (although not a great deal) left. The fifth has a normal road tyre with plenty of tread but seems a little flat, so I’ll try pumping that up and see if it holds air. Overall condition is very good – the pics are straight from storage and I haven’t had a chance to wash the dirt off, although obviously there are some marks and one has some very slight kerbing if I remember rightly. How does £250 sound? Wheels are in Gloucester but can get them closer to Stratford-upon-Avon if need be. Any inspection is welcome, in fact I’d prefer anyone seriously interested to do just that. I’ll try and post some pics – sorry if they don’t work! imageshack.us/scaled/large/29/image1pge.jpgimageshack.us/scaled/large/211/image2cc.jpgimageshack.us/scaled/large/854/image3tog.jpgimageshack.us/scaled/large/203/image4mqt.jpgimageshack.us/scaled/large/24/image5nj.jpgimageshack.us/scaled/large/196/image6gz.jpgimageshack.us/scaled/large/109/image7rn.jpg

Anybody else got the below message when they try to add an attachment? I thought I would try to add a pic to go with my for sale ad in parts and it seemed quite an easy option, but all I got was the below response: Error: This forum has exceeded its attachment space limit. Got a set of 5 four-spoke Image rims 5.5x13 off a Banks Europa (Lotus). Very good condition with track day tyres (proper ones, not bald road ones...) that have some tread left. I think they're worth more but would let them go for £200 for a quick and easy sell.
Don't know if they'd fit but they'd look damn cool.
I'm in Gloucester but can get them to B50 as I work at Bidford-upon-Avon nr Stratford-upon-Avon.
