Any chance of decreasing the age limit? It seems to have been the same since I joined. Maybe not on an every year basis but at least every few years?
I would suggest nothing newer then 2003, there are both interesting and bargain bucket cars that cant be listed because of the rule.
Sorry if this is in the wrong place.

A D22 Navara Sport, a Seat Leon FR TFSi and a NA Eunos. I meant a budget for you to spend, looking a >4* NCAP rating I'll assume post 2003 then?? Interested in the Leon, whereabouts in Essex are you?

Is there a reason your not considering a 106 Gti/Saxo VTS? There is also a very nice AX Gti for sale on here currently which is very similar to the aforementioned cars.

Arrowspeeds are kiwkfit own brand.
I would go for mid range, ie Toyo, Uniroyal, Kuhmo or see if I could get decent tyres 2nd hand.

Not quite the same car but very close, enough differences to make them feel quite different to drive. Quicker steering rack (2.4 vs 3.6) 20mm lower, stiffer springs all round and more rear toe in, same roll bars and brakes, 5 speed box. later xsaras had a different ecu, two lambda sensors, these ones are much better on fuel. Sounds like you've driven both? Which was better?
