Mine as scabs / peeling paint but the rust on outside ive covered with clear yacht varnish / surprisingly underneath is as good as youll get on a C15 of this age. Whilst its number one job is reliable transport for wife disability scooter its quirky unusual character lends itself to having fun in a non serious what have i done sort of way.Too much must be as new restoration don't do it for me / as its market value isnt high / no finance nor keeping up with the car new plate finance gang in my road if i want to take a drill to it i can whilst my neighbour with his 18k tin box looks on in horror but asks lots of questions cos he s curious i can do this with a smile on my face. I tell him on regular basis paintwork don't get you to your destination nor the numbers on the registration plate. Each to their own / thats mutual respect but i do get a smile on my face when driving this Citroen Oddity. If that makes me normal the jury is out on that one. Find one and enjoy back to basics motoring although did 180 mile motorway trip no issues / alright more cars overtook me but many glanced over to see what theyd just passed. For me job done.

Continuing fun and madness together painted front grille and added skeleton hand / face instead of boring Citroen badge.Good thing about fun projects there are no rules / no scene / no in depth widget counting discussion just imagination doing what it does best.

Wouldnt say enlarging centre bore was best job although was able to sit down when doing it. Always in back of my mind got to be perfect or could set up vibration so painstakingly taking off a smidgen with a file hour after hour requires patience and a real sense of wanting to achieve what for many is considered impossible unless done in machine shop / maybe i got lucky with a perfect fit but not doing anymore soon. Defies logic but at that stage wheels were only pocket money items to experiment on.

Bit of fun on a vehicle that is fun and not to be taken serious !!!!!!!!!!!!! There is great satisfaction taking a drill or saw to a retro that in essence as no market value other than the owners idea of its worth. The kind of vehicle that many would love to own but are bogged down by fitting in / having the right image and a soft spot for finance deals.

Time to start sourcing some wider wheels to fit the back / nothing mega wide but wide enough to make a difference / might keep skinny fronts as they are. Sales literature out of interest

Nothing that stands out thats big / brash or otherwise but the end result is nigh on straight through exhaust that just burbles around town but livens up if you hit the gas pedal and its all just a bit of cheap retro fun nothing too serious

Thats a great testament to the fact they are a willing work horse when needed Diesel aint the quickest but it sure sounds interesting with its new additions and as a cheap fun project not to be taken serious so far its delivered. Why have normal when for less you can be individual

Might be a diesel but having taken off the strangulation device known as the air filter box it was on with a generic induction kit formed from an alloy section from one fleabay seller and generic cone filter from another. Whether it produces any more power doesnt matter / its not a speed demon and at best it ll breathe that bit easier. One thing about modifying an old retro is there aint no rule book / no hard and fast calculation as to will the rivet counters object nor is it going to help / hinder / improve performance / purely for fun and a little bit of differentology on a Friday afternoon. That is what non serious retro ownership is about for me !!!!! Had good fun fabricating a bracket to bolt to air filter using up bits n bobs left over from earlier window winder job.

Still looking into wheel boss kit after RR member suggested Peugeot 205 and apparently there were two variants and as my Citroen C15 is 2002 it was suggested the later Peugeot wheel boss from 205 would be the one / anyone know more about this and fitment ?
