The car, being a 1300XL is fitted with rectangular headlights, chrome trim around the windows & rear panel & comes with 6 dial dash as standard. The car is standard aside from a set of Rostyle wheels & a set of aftermarket red & black front seats which have faded in the sun & have the word turbo on them. The owner has had the car since 1994 & has great sentimental value to him as the car was bought to work on with his Dad who passed away 5 years ago. You asked the question why hide the location, I answered it regardless of whether it was 2 hours ago or 2 months ago! Time doesn't change why locations aren't given!

^^ you can have a fruit shoot from me to match your maturity? It's a question for information mate, why hide the location from enthusiasts? To protect it from being nicked by undesirables? To stop the owner being hounded by dozens of enthusiasts attempting to buy it?

That's worrying! Where in Fife was it? (PM me if you don't want the area public knowledge, feel free to name the suspect too ) 6 years ago my father in law had a similar issue, also in Fife. He has a mk1 Escort & one night someone climbed over the fence to take a look at his car in the garage. Luckily my wife & I were staying there at the time & switching the bathroom light on upstairs scared them off! Next morning we took a look & discovered that they'd dragged next doors bin to the fence along with some paving slabs & climbed over

Car was apparently recovered a few hours after it was stolen, however a search of that registration number on DVLAs website indicates that it doesn't exist!

The red Triumph TR6 was stored in a lock-up garage at Parkmill Close but was missing when the owner went to check the vehicle on Monday August 3. The car, with an estimated value of around £14,000, is believed to have been taken some time in the previous four weeks since the owner last went to the garage. DI Rob Huddleston said: "The owner lives locally but drives the car only occasionally. He had not been to the garage for about a month. He was absolutely devastated to find that thieves had broken in and taken the car, which was his pride and joy and looked absolutely superb. "We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the burglary or from anyone with information about the current whereabouts of the car.” Anyone with information should contact Essex Police on 101. www.yourthurrock.com/Appeal-classic-car-stolen-Corringham/story-27549085-detail/story.html
