The website is a bit misleading, the ones for the coil springs are the same. But you do have to have longer brake lines fited. If you cut the coils you will only get the wheels to sit 0 camber at best. cheers mate, i'll get some then. my T4 auto is being silly with its gear changers to had to take the little beast on a 60 round trip. My futuristic Micheal Knight style fuel gauge was on amber, So i brimmed it £18,46 co pilot in tow music sorted and we made it, didn't miss a beat, nippy too. I like driving it, but my left leg was hurting after an hour due to the lack of room, I don't know how the couple drove it here from poland found out if you switch it off (on the key) while the indicator is on it keep running, even took the key out. then when you turn the indicator off the engine stops hahah

What you need for the back end is some camber correctors. You can get them from LDM Tuninng or Trabantwelt. Or I have seen some technical diagrams on the net. so if you know someone with a lathe you could get some made. these are for leaf springs only, mines on springs. ANGLE GRINDER ....

I'll order some camber correcters. Would you consider courier the window if I pay and arrange a courier ? Can't beat a clear work space lol Going back to black and back to steels

Probably better to adapt some cheap coilovers than cutting the springs. I've seen some polo 80mm lowering springs for about £60 on eBay. I might try them

I know it needs to be lower. I'm looking at some alleycats next week. Air would be ace but it's a budget build so it more chopped springs then air struts

my wife uses the trampant for running about in, since using it the boot hinges have broke, and the passenger window has broke, i gave it a service and bought some Hungarian reproduction boot hinges. They worse thing I've ever seen haha then spent a few hours modding them juts so they fitted. I struggled more with finding the glass, i have a friend who works in germany during the week so he is trying to find me one, So ti keep the water out i made a perspex one i did a trial fit with the banded steels, they rubbed, so i brought e-bay's finest 5mm spacers they still rub .... so i cut the springs to make me feel better I'm a bit gutted the banded steels don't fit as thats the look i wanted . I don't like the standard wheels and 2 of them are close to the limit, then i remembered i had this swapped. proving everything looks better with banded steels on end result for the trabby I don't like it, front looks better a bit lower, but the wheels are too big, don't suit it, the rears are reversed camber and rub the arch. i need to chop the rear springs and find some low ET wide, 13" 4x100 different wheels cheap ,,,,,,

Are the rear wheels water ballasted? That makes them feel weird on the road at 'speed' Tbh I've not thought of that, I'll check the valves thanks. I need to fix my compresser, I want to let the tyres down and blow them back up. One of the resrs almost bouncers like its misshaped when it's flat out. But like you suggest could be water ballast. The steering feels like it sticks, steer right and it goes right then correct it and it keeps going right for a second. Not sure if it's sticking or I need to change the seals

Got the flasher unit and fitted it and replaced the rear lights Derrick wasn't impressed I need to get the rusted foot throttle off. The advance of having big rust holes is I can spray wd40 from the outside Then went and bought beer in it! The steering is horrendous!!

Yes mate Fitted a slam shut door lock and a close handle for the window Fitted a new brake light switch. New head light, new side lights and indicators. New light switch and took a live to the fuse board off the ignition switch. Even took it on a night joy ride. But forgot my phone so no pics. Need to get a flasher unit for the indicators to work, then change to hydraulic oil and filters get the 3 point linkage working right
