Yes there are dust covers , I think you are right , itβs the only thing that can pull the pistonns back !! When I built them I lubed them with brake fluid , what would you suggest as a alternative ? Thanks .

Another great day on the Noble , managed to get everything done so the wheels could go back on and I could drive her outside ππππ Got a bit of a odd one with the brakes , bled them all up fine with good feel then when you leave them standing the new rubbers are pulling the pistons back so there is a gap between the piston and the pad !!! Pedal goes down to the floor first pump them is fine !!!!! Any advice on this would be greatly appreciate!!!
Lovely to get her outside in the sunshine !!

Well I have been avoiding this job as it just makes me itch π±π±π‘π‘ Got stuck in today , getting the old exhaust off is always a pain but thankfully the last bloke that fitted it used titanium nuts and bolts so they all came undone nice and easy ππππ Used a different wrap this time , supplied by Merlin Motorsport , 50meters to do the whole exhaust . Also refurbed exhaust ends and front heat shield . Pleased with the results . I wrap the whole exhaust for heat control and it dulls down the noise a bit . The Hayward and Scott exhaust is 6 years old but still in good order . Both boxes have been repacked as well . Iβm very thankful I have so much to do on the Noble , itβs stopping me from going insane ππ

I like your MTB. I am looking to replace my Specialized Stumpjumper. I had a look at a similar bike as yours. Do you like the electric side of things? Are there things to look for?I had a go at one in New Zealand. I was shocked how fast it was. Great to hear you are doing well. Cheers Love my Kenevo , itβs awesome . They donβt like the water though ππ

Hi guys , just thought I would check in again !! What a very strange year we are all having π±π± Firstly I hope everbody is safe !!! Because of my transplant Iβm self isolating at home and have been advised to do that for 3 months π©π© The only good side is I have plenty of time for the Noble !! Gearbox has been rebuilt and it was very tired so itβs a good job we had it done !! Engine is in tip top condition so itβs been put back in , turbos have been champ get for smaller units so hopefully it will be less laggy for road use . I have also fitted a heater ππ yes I know but I feel the cold in my old age π Lots of cleaning and replacing stuff , the rear clam is all repaired and re wrapped ready to go back on . Brake calipers have been completely refurbished . Iβm pleased to say my Transplant kidney is working well and thankfully Iβm still feeling very well !! Iβm still mountain biking and have recently rebuilt my new bike to match the Noble ππ Will post up more updates as I get them . Stay safe everyone πππ

Just spent last few days reading this in full.. what a journey for both you and the car. I've always liked the look of these but thought they just lacked enough poke to be proper (I raced bikes for years so my sense of fast is different to most haha) You've made it into something properly special with performance to match! So well done on that front and congrats on the health front. Thanks itβs been a fantastic journey !! I suppose the Noble is pretty much a bike with 4 wheels , I have had a few goes against bikes and received more than a few thumbs up πππ 700 bhp and 1040 kg is a pretty good power to weight ratio !!

How do you (the Focus) get a lap record by being slower? I assume itβs for a different class or thereβs a slight difference in the course? Different class , should be a faster class as they can run a full race slick where I only run the Trofeo R road legal tyre ! proves the Noble is punching ππ

Good point ππ
I have often wondered how fast we could have gone with a new set of slicks fitted over the Trofeo R road Tyres !!!

I never realized just how fast the Noble is !! Last weekend was the final round of TA in the uk , this highspec slick shod focus running a fully sequential gearbox ran a 1.18,271 set a new lap record !! The Noble ran a 1.17.157 last year running road Tyres and a std 6 speed gearbox !,
