Another morning at Jetstream Motorsport , front splitter all done , had a play with some ply to make some splitter end plates . The new front clam has been reinforced to strengthen it considering the size of the splitter .

So a great few days this week , new wing is all sorted , new wheels on order !! Del at DJ Racecars has been superb . Lots of Emails from Simon McBeath ref the aero balance , concern that with the new rear wing the aero balance will move too far back creating understeer at high speed so new inner front wheel arch defuser's have been designed and lots of info on the splitter end plates and something called Tyre Gurnys , which improve front and downforce and also help brake cooling !!! Some great drawings to help me make parts !! I'm learning so much !!!

Yes have taken a lot of advice from Simon !!! Unfortunately there is noway of fitting it directly onto the chassis :-( has to go on the clam , which has been strengthened to cope with the loads !!

Thanks for the input guys ! The general opinion is it's still on the floor but it's unloaded so it looks like with the wide arch kit we will need to upgrade the Eibac springs to something stiffer !! It's been a exiting week !!! Over the last few days I've had contact from Simon McBeath ref improving the aero on the car , his articles in Racecar magazine are always very interesting and I have studied them with great interest !! He Along with Del design and sell aero parts through www.sm-designs.co.uk/wingshophome.htmlAfter much discussions they have designed a dual flap fully adjustable rear wing for the Noble !! The std wing is very basic so they have looked at a more efficient design the will create less drag and more downforce , the results is stunning . They are also working on some parts for the front to increase the downforce and keep the aero balance right . These parts are stunning quality and design . I'm very pleased to have worked a deal so we will be running with there Logo.s on the car for next year 👍👍 This morning I was up at 6 to head for a meeting with www.imagewheels.co.uk/ , I know these guys from my Ultima days and was hoping they would make me some bespoke billet wheels for the Noble !! We are very tight on budget for wheels so I was hoping we could work something out 👍👍 Jason is a top bloke and there wheels are fantastic quality I also needed some light and strong and they must be ready for Autosport !! There is so much choice but the Noble is a 4 stud Hub which narrowed things down a bit !! I loved these : But after much debate I narrowed it down to these 2 designs . After much discussion I just could not decide so we Agreed the Billet 117 (left wheel) would be done with gloss black CENTER's for the dry as these are the lightest wheel they do and the Billet 61 in all gloss black with stainless screws for the wet . Again a pretty good deal was done and the Image wheels Logo also will be run on the car for 2017 !! Fantastic support from 2 British company's . Left Image and headed for Jetstream Motorsport to design a new front splitter , Simon had suggested we should build it to the max width away from the body , this is 150mm !!! I'm making this myself so I needed to sort the shape of the new front clam . Will be doing it Sunday but great too see the new Clam out of the moulds . The New Heated front window screen is now in stock along with the liteweight Perspex windows , these should be going on the car in the next few weeks . I'm also pleased with my 6 weeks Kidney checkup which showed them stable at 11% function !! Fingers crossed they will hang on ! Thanks for reading guys , the support is very much appreciated .

So a good day at Jetstream Motorsport yesterday , it's been decided to fit the fastback clam but with the full motorsport wide arch kit , this will allow 295 rear tyres to but run , up from 265 and 265 on the front up from 225 !!! The fastback gives better airflow into the rear mounted intercooler and smoother airflow into the rear wing . At the front Jetstream do a much smoother front body section with a much lower splitter height . Both clams are much lighter with a saving of 10kg in weight !!!!! Wheels will be bespoke items from image wheels , 11" wide on the rear and 9.1/2 on the front !!! I like the look of these with gloss black CENTER's . Will also be making a front splitter , something along the lines or the unit fitted on the Gobstopper 2 !! Aero regs allow up to a 150mm projection from the bodywork !! She will be the only Road legal Noble in the world with the RSR wide body kit :-)

STD exhaust is a single box 2.1/4 dia , Hayward and Scott made me a 2.3/4 dia twin box system with flexi joints and repackable boxes , it works very well !!!
Turbo's are GTX28RS60 , they are good for 2. Bar boost which would probably make 900 bhp 😂😂😂 Intercooler is my own design made by Darren at Radtec !

Thanks Matt , love buzzing the pit lane 😂😂😂 Car checked last night and everything in good order , engine contiues to improve and settle in , still feels laggy on the road so will need to work out why , fine on track though . The new Trofeo tyres are definately a step up from the Michelins , there is a lot less understeer especially when they are cold . Cadwel on Friday will be our last run out before winter upgrades , plans so far are : Syvec ECU , remap and in introduction of flat shift , this should keep the turbos spinning through the gear changes . New Jetstream motorsport front clam New Jetstream motorsport fastback rear clam . New heated front screen so the heater box can be removed along with various water pipes , worth about 20kg in weight !! Exhaust to repack . Going to be a busy winter !!! Just need a kidney transplant and we will be ready for 2017 :-)

Yeah the Ultima lads are not sure what to do with us !!! Sunday morning and a brilliant ride out to Silverstone to the Pistonheads Sunday service , nice to get out in the Noble again and just go for a ride , booked in a 30 min track session which was great fun , lots of traffic but plenty of cars to chase and overtake !! The Noble felt very quick , plenty of cold air ment nothing more than low boost was used to dispatch everything we came near :-) Got a funny look when I went through the McDonald's drive through to get lunch 😂😂😂😂 Nice to see a Noble M600 there !!
