Well what a emotional couple of days , arrived at Cadwell late Sunday to get car scrutinered and signed in , great to be back in the paddock . Monday morning turned out to be wet so on with the full wets and out for warmup , still have no idea how to use the full wet tyre but put in a full session on them then out came the sunshine much to my relief as I'm fubbish in the wet 😂 2nd practise all ok and started to push on a bit , car feels very stable with lots of grip still running low boost , dipped into the low 1.41which pretty much matched my fastest times !! Qualifieing and it's up to med boost and start to go for it again car responds perfectly and we push like crazy ! Every lap getting quicker and quicker ! Trying to find the limit of the grip without chucking the car into the Armco was such a buzz and a final lap of 1.39.779 was my fastest ever lap around Cadwell park !! Elated but exhausted 😩 the G force in the car was getting very noticeable and I was starting to feel pretty rough 😢 Back in the pits and while the car is being checked over I go for a kip !! I hate being ill at this moment 😤 Hour later with a tin of red bull and a sandwich inside me I starting prepping for the final , the Spooks Motorsport 205 turbo is 3 tenths of a second in front of me !!! So it's all to play for . For the first time at Cadwell I flick onto high boost that's the full fat 650bhp 😱😱 2 warm up laps and a go for it , fist Time onto the start finish straight and the power pins me back in my seat , I actually start laughing as I fly over the start finish line !! Trouble is after 2 flying laps I start to feel Sick 😷 not sure why but I'm guessing the redbulll and food is the problem , couple of slow laps but I'm in trouble , fastes lap is a 1.41 . Slow right down and try and regroup , with the final only being 15 mins long I'm running out of time !! Then it's just go for it , complete trust in the car means I just hang on and push like crazy everything just comes together and the lap feels epic sweeping into the goose neck I take all the curb as I turn in first right them immediately left then a blip of throttle down the hill brake late to the fast left hander , the car squirms as I plant the throttle in 3rd gear and we head towards the mountain ! Brake very late and sweep into the first left handed , the front splitter scrapes across the tarmac as I turn in too fast but the car stubbenly refuses to get out of shape and we fly up the mountain at the top the car goes light and the rear skips but I hang on and head towards the final complex !! Much braver on the off camber right gander onto the start finish straight and I just floor it , the rear digs in and the car just flys towards the start finish line full 8000 rpm in 3rd and 4th and we howl across the line 😎😎 I'm knackered , curse word knows what my heart rate was but boy was it beating 😂😂 A new fastest ever lap of Cadwell park 1.39.669 see's me secure 2nd place just missing out of 1st by 3 tenths of a second !!! Epic . What a day 😎😎😎

Well you know how we were all always talking about our Love - hate relationships we have with our Cars ............. so this morning Dawn dropped me off at the Signteam to collect the Noble after Neil Wise has stone chip protected the front end and applied all the Time Attack stickers . On arrival the sun was out and the car looks stunning , coffee and a chat for an hour then cruise 50 miles down the A1 to Bedford to get all my video V-box system sorted . Dario did a cracking job and with everything working sweetly and all ready for Mondays Time Attack meeting . Then it all went to curse word !!!! 80mph engine drops onto 3 cylinders then starts to Die completely , luckily there is a junction coming up so I pull off the carriageway roll around the junction and pull into a lay by . Try to fire up engine and the battery I'd flat as a pancake !!!! Turns out the brand new alternator fitted only last Saturday is curse word and has not been charging add to that it has failed without putting on the charge light on the dash . So amassive thanks to my awesome wife Dawn Roberts who dropped everything to bring out my spare battery , plugged it in and cruised home !! Again Dave from Jetstream came to the rescue confirming that the alternator will need changing !!!! curse word 😤😤 So tomorrow morning instead of having a lay in and reading the paper I will be feckin laying on my back fighting with a useless piece of Ford curse word to change the alternator !!!! On the upside the car looks awesome 😎😎

Full day working on the Noble yesterday , first job was a alternator change then drain down the water system to remove all the water from the heater system , then reroute the pipework to stop the water flowing around the heater which eventually will be removed ! Weight saving of 2 Kg with the water and various bits 👍👍 Then fit the new rear wheel arch inner covers and new side covers all made in carbon , made these myself as the std ones are no longer available from Noble ! Pretty chuffed with the results 😎😎 1 week until the first round of Time Attack 😱😱

So 3 weeks to go until the first Time Attack round and we are still chomping our way through the list of jobs !! Second test at Cadwell went very well but it looks like the alternator has developed a fault so have had to sort a new one , lacked the tunnel cooling that I normally have so I think it overheated !!! Air inlets sorted over the weekend and MSA isolation switch is nearly there , car has also had a good polish and Hoover out ! Still waiting for the Time Attack sticker pack . Best lap at Cadwell was a 1.40 some 2 seconds quicker than last year !!! Lap record is 1.38 so still need to push a bit more !! Lots more photo's on the Instagram Page for those that are interested , search #TuxmanRacing Getting exited now 😎😎

No mate but the body has been reinforced to take the strain and the steel, pivot point have been strengthened as well !! So far the signs are that a good amount of load is transferring to the chassis .

Cracking free Saturday today so decided to spend it on the Noble , wife and son out for a 5K inflatable run so I pretty much had a free pass so it was off to my mate Mark's garage to get her on a ramp and in the air . First job was a engine oil filter and oil change , always a bit of trepidation when the magnetic sump plug comes out but thankfully all clean with no iron fillings there !!!! Opie oils had delivered my 10 litres of 10w 60 fully synthetic ester based Titan Pro S and I had called in at Ford and picked up a ST220 oil filter total cost for oil and filter £85 !! She takes about 8 litres too fill up , I always fill the new filter before it is fitted and thankfully the oil pressure comes straight up !! Next job was gearbox oil , again opie oils had sent me 5 litres of Millars competition transmition oil and it was strained as it came out the box to check for debris again thankfully nothing was there !! A good clean around engine bay then all wheels off for inspection and brake clean , everything looks in good order . Managed to refit the rear clam as the extra downforce had pushed the rear clip mounts down 15mm !!!! These mounts were then drilled and tapped and a bolt put in to stop them moving in future , just goes to show how much Extra downforce the wing is making !! The front flat floor aero looks good although the splitter is getting a bit of a bashing !!! Will need to fit some skid blocks to protect it ! Pretty good morning although started too feel pretty knackered so headed home for a sleep 😴 hate this disease 😢😢 4 weeks until the first Time Attack round !!!

Thanks again for the support guys , Wednesday was the first Time Attack test day and the chance to go back to Cadwell park and see what the winter upgrades have bought to the table . On arrival I met up with Allan Cox from ACMR Motorsport , Allan has agreed to support us trackside and will deal with the general maintenance, tyre changing needs for a TA race day , this is going to be a massive help to us and will mean I can concentrate on driving and save my energy !!! On arrival it turned out the battery on the Noble was flat !!! Not sure why as it normally last a couple of weeks but Allan soon had her running and while I was at drivers briefing the brand new Pirelli wets were all fitted and ready to go !! In the morning it was pretty wet so I did 40 or so laps in 2 sessions to try and get used to running on full race wets , the grip of these was impressive and I still need to get a lot more practise on them but I can see them being fun . After lunch the sun shone and the track dried out and although pretty green the Noble felt superb . The aero upgrades have made quite a difference with the car feeling much more stable and very planted although the extra drag has dropped my top speed by 20 mph !!!! Running medium boost at the end of the day I managed to match my best ever lap of 1.41 of a very green track at the start of the year !! Pretty impressive stuff . The lap record for my class is 1.38 so I guess that will be the target at this years TA event , will need to run the full 650 bhp to improve my high speed but I'm sure we can get pretty close !!! Roll on the 1st May !!

Well yesterday was a good day !! First full day of testing at Rockingham yesterday and the sun was shining !! Now that's a first 😂😂 The day was organised by Track Addicts and there was a large cross section of cars so had to be careful of the closing speeds but mid afternoon the track cleared a bit and we were able to flick to medium boost and push on a bit !! Car felt great all day , stability under bracking seems better and the high speed stability is much improved , around the banking section she felt absolutely planted and I was able to push pretty hard . I have some understeer in the low speed corners which I think is chassis grip problem , not sure how to fix that but it was manidgeable , could be a Rockingham problem , will have too see how I get on at Cadwell on Wednesday . On a personal note I fell comfy and relaxed in the car and did not get too tired which bodes well for the TA season .

So a busy few days , over to Jetstream on Friday for a few laps of the test track and get sone new plugs fitted , car feels very quick and really grips !!!! Engine cleared it throats the went like crazy !!! 150 Mile round trip along with a few fast laps with no issues . Today took the rear clam off to put some heat protection on around the exhaust , bodywork was getting hot and I was concerned about the wrap !! Next Saturday is the first proper run out with a track day booked at Rockingham !! It would be nice if it was dry !! The following Wednesday we are testing with Pirelli at Caldwell park , that will be the final shake down before the first round of Time Attack at Caldwell on May the 1st !
got spotted too 😂😂

Absolutely bloody love this thing! I remember having a good look around it at AutoSport and being blown away by the quality of the work. Pretty inspirational too with the whole debilitating illness, I learnt a couple of years ago just how important it is to live your life, which has led to a lot of changes and me building something I've been talking about since I was 16. I've fired you over a message on IG about possibly doing a feature on this, hope that's cool. Hi mate , thanks for the nice words , it's been a fantastic project so far !! Cannot see a message ??
