I have a 1.6 beam fitted on mine. I think the drums may be a wee bit wider but its not a problem. The answer is it fits fine

Yeah they're the ones. They'll be the same on the gti also. Having 2 trolley jacks helps or 2 people lol, if you was closer I'd offer assistance. I've taken mine off 3 times overall, now I have a fully rebuilt one I've got no worries for a while lol.

That's sounding good mate. As I was reading this last post I was thinking I can get rid of the rear beam I got in my garage lol Good news on the beam price. You may find you'll need new beam mounts, but you'll see when you come to removing it. If you need any pointers on the beam fitting/removal drop us a PM Best of luck to you.

Its not too bad,you get used to the charger noise. Fuel consumption isnt the greatest, with being on boost all the time. Much better all-round driveability over the Turbo I love a charger noise hahaha. Must refrain from buying things before finishing other projects

Pm's replied to. Pictures of the suspension - I'm afraid I haven't had chance to take the wheels off properly but heres a couple of pics- all the adjusters are free on the coilovers but the previous owner has said something about the front dampening adjustment working properly - ill have a go next time I'm with the car to see if it works or not. Thanks dude. You got a price in mind?? Pm me if need be

I was recommended greenlight insurance by a fellow car guy. Have used them now for 2 years on both my cars. The mx5 I have is a mk1 import 1.8, 1993 I pay little under £400 for it on a 7500 limited mile policy, with the few small mods declared they're a great bunch of guys, each time I've spoken to them it was always a pleasure. Obviously its not a 'proper' classic but its near enough Hope that could be of some help Sent from my A0001 using Tapatalk
