I'm looking for a bolt in kit with a buget of £1500. There isn't really much choice and so far I have only found these two. Both kits look different so I was hoping you guys could tell me the differences between them so I can make the right choice before spending so much money. don't know of it helps but I'm running porsche teledials 7j with 15mm adaptors and 165,50,15s and wI'll noch the chas sis before busing but nit sure if it wI'll be require? ??. Any other advise will be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I'd go for a high quality coilover set up which will still give a decent ride.Less than a grand and lighter than a bagged set up without the need for all the control systems. Check out the usual specialist dub site for info as there are loads of 'bagged' cars on the scene. have a look in Performance VW magazine for links, you could even buy a copy....... the reason I was thinking air rather than coils is because I use it everyday I like the idea of being to raise it on curse word roads.got a performance vw at home so will have a thumb through it.

Get the best you can as when you get the cheap bags they don't last long please tell me as much as you can like can I just buy bags to go on my coil overs or do I need full new shocks? Cheers

Ok I like a slammed car but use it everyday so have decided on air. Looking into the kits on ebay they have prices from £1500 to £2600 and my budget would def be the lower end. At the moment I have coil overs so the few questions I have is as follows. Is the lower end kit at £1500 any good and easy to fit or can you buy a universal kit that uses the coil overs and just replaces the springs on my original suspension. I'm not mechanic but not afraid to have ago at stuff. I would be glad of any advise, links or kits that you can tell me about. Cheers guys.

Kr dizzy is a 4 lobe but the abf has one . You can run the old 8v ecu which has no imob system and a kr dizzy So the wiring is simpler with no key chip Still running abf ecu and dizzy with no problems at all. Like you say would be a lot less clutter wiring wise with the kr set up but fine as it is so I have left well alone lol!!!

I left everything really, just disconnected the injector and throttle body stuff.

Car all running like a dream on the abf ecu. I have found it runs smoother than it did with the injection as was always lumpy with the bigger cams.

Very nice What engine / spec is it? Cheers Matt It's a ABF lump that's all been polished and ported and balanced up. It's using zx6 bike carbs to to smooth out the fueling as got very big high lift cams.

Well after sorting the fueling I thought I'd spruce up the engine bay so bought a new rocker cover so I could paint it up but the Mrs wasn't happy to find it in the oven lol
