Just purchased some one piece zender stars that need a refurbished. I noticed that the hole for the fake bolts/pegs goes all the way through the wheel. Am I correct in thinking I can remove the bolts/pegs by tapping them out from behind???
Cheers guys

Main bearings look fine but these are bottom end bearings and look at bit pitted so going to change them. Like said I bet it was only 20 miles while there was a problem.

I would really have the whole lot out and go through the bottom end . Its bound to have bits of metal in the oil galleries etc so may well just grind to a halt again after a while unless done properly. Hoping shouldnt be too bad as baffle is made from plastic.

Well iv found my problem as I took the sump off. The oil baffle is in about a million bits in the bottom of the tray. Could have been far worse!!!

Sound like you lost all your oil . It might have moved the picked up or buggered it. Still full of oil so probably the pick up.

Starts fine but no oil pressure. Oil light comes on sold and then starts flashing then buzzer sounds. Had a pal suggested that the strainer on oil pump could be blocked and could be as easy as dropping the oil and giving it a clean, any suggestions please.

It's meant to be full of wet sawdust/wood shavings iirc.. it's actually suppose to be wet cloth so the air can pass over and the water can evaporate and cool the air.
