And I failed, I'm sure I bought one when I built the special and then made my own using an engine mount when I couldent make it fit. If it does exist, it's buried in one of my storage facilities, sorry. As luck (knowledge, wisdom and good planning) would have it mrbadger ordered one just in case. Dan

I would definitely want to change the 3 yellow electrolytic caps on the main power board as I don't have the proper kit to test them. The other should be ok.

Nick has it pretty much spot on (as per), but i would add to have a look under the dash for crispy/bodged wiring, a friend nearly lost a newly bought herald when the loom got a little too toasty. Dan

Yes I spotted the green one on eBay, I recon that's hidding more rot than its showing.
Luckily my bond is an early one with no front gutter, which I prefer the look of.
I need to go find my mojo, I'm not feeling at all inspired at the moment. Dan

Yet another tiny update, as I'm currently struggling to change the clutch on my sons 08 Mini. Thanks to zeberdee I have a VW T4, grill the lower grill has almost exactly the correct curvature to match the bumper, at least the part behind the numberplate. Dan

Dear RR community I need some help, I have a friend, she has a T25 camper that is her pride and joy, well It was until it broke down and came home on the back of a tow truck, when her and the kids were off camping in Scotland some time ago. I have been on the lookout for a replacement since then, one of our community has one, but it's on the south coast and the Van is near Hull, some 300 miles away.
Here's the problem her son has been in and out of hospital since covid and is currently shielding, they don't seem to know what's wrong, and I would really like to get it fixed for her, so when he's well enough, the can get away in it.
What I need help getting the engine from Poole to Hull, I've recently become unemployed, so I have the time but thanks to my auto petrol, CRV having a drinking problem worse than George Best, not the money to get there. I know it's a big ask, but can anyone help get the engine nearer to hull? Please. Thanks for Reading this. Dan

Oof, that windscreen surround. I know that one! If you can dig out my thread on my old Bond I documented how I replaced the entire surround from the top of the bulkhead upwards. Apparently the Equipes rust worse than Heralds there because they stripped all the rustproofing out at the factory to aid fibreglass bonding when installing the roof. I'm going to replace the whole bulkhead, the floorplans are soft to. At the moment I plan to sikaflex the fiberglass to Epoxy primered steel. Dan

Thanks chaps, Ill look in to the iron removing cleaner, altho I'm wondering if some bathroom Viakal acid cleaner might work as the steel has gone it's just the rusty mark left. Dan
