I used to have red tinted indicators on an old car and ran it like it for a few years with no issues. Because it's old no one will bat an eyelid.
Looks mega cool. Definitely keep it if you know a friendly MOT guy.

Just had a site shared with me via facebook that is doing the rounds at the mo to somebody supplying retro car stickers. Got some good looking stuff on there as well so I thought I'd share it. His website is Www.rajikaru.co.uk . Some of his stuff looks great Amazing! Thanks for the love! Message me and I'll send you a free sticker That's Benny. He's on here. Reminds me, I was going to order some stickers for my P510. Site seems to be down at the moment. There was an issue with the host but it's sorted now. All in stock ready and waiting for your order fella!

I leave for Japan Thursday and I'm doing a similar trip. This time I too am renting a car and visiting Daikoku and Tatsumi. Also I'm doing the Maricar! I bet that was brilliant fun! Great shots, especially at night. The last few times I've been, I've only taken my phone but this time I'm actually tempted to take my DSLR, it's just the bulk of it that puts me off. Post ALL your images! Nice! Where are you staying, for how long, what other things have you got planned? We will be going back with some extra friends in a couple of years Maricar really was a blast, you do attract some attention of the other tourists and even the locals haha First night at Tatsumi we arrived at 10 pm and left for the hotel at 5 am... so, yeah... we liked it over there Actually I'm not that happy with most of the night pics, should have bought a faster lense and a tripod earlier... but I do get what you're saying about a DSLR, that's why a went for a smaller mirrorless Sony. Not gonna post everything (+4000 photos by me, about 2500 by my friend) but I guess I could post some non-car pics later on I'm just focusing on Tokyo and Osaka this time as there's still so much to see! I've only got the first 4 days planned out so far, just going to wing the rest. I'm visiting Mizuno Works, Tec Arts, Garage Kagotani, Wizard (Old Celica Specialist), Car Shop glow, Mary's (Old Skyline builder), RS Start, few up garages ect then over to Yokohama, might stop by the Rocket Bunny cafe then over to Daikoku and Tatsumi. Tsukuba Circuit the next day for the JCCA Endurance meeting. It was fantastic last year. Thread for pics and the Videos retrorides.proboards.com/thread/186091/tsukuba-endurace-event-japracecars-video?page=1&scrollTo=2165270Haha Maricar sounds fun, I'm looking forward to it! I've got a 7D and it's pretty bulky. What shutter speed have you shot with for those night panning shots? I've decided to take it with me and put up with it so we'll see how I get on skating about on a longboard with that hanging off me haha To the chap worried about the language barrier.... don't be! That's what put me off for years but I'm gutted I didn't go sooner now. Book your flights and go! My flights were £450 return last year and £490 this year.

Nice work there! Cover looks tasty! Those springs are even worse than my original rear chopped springs it came over on haha
Exhaust wrap is the worst, horrid horrid stuff when it gets all in between your fingers.
Down for a good Gen 1 meet up!

If you ever lose the plot and sell this beautiful machine then I want it! Pretty much my dream car! I'll call you if I win the lottery and offer you something silly for it Haha yes! Feel free to offer silly amounts at any time! Thank you! Looked good at JAE, shame about the duff weather on Saturday. Thanks man, Thursday and Friday were great though! I had to leave on Saturday so didn't bother me too much apart from the soggy drive home! Good times were had! So many cool people to chat cars with all weekend!

Nice updates! Cool to see some more progress with this. I really like how much character this has. Those SSR Super Sharks do look cool on it though and the bumper does look good! Sucks you didn't quite make it to the gathering, me and a few other gen 1's made it there! I parked up next to Gursajan's GTV. Thing is awesome.

wow....wonderful work...car looks awesome. JP Thanking you Sir! it just keeps getting better. nice work man!!! Thanks man! Appreciate it! I think that's going to be it for a while now though. The gearbox will probably come off after JAE at some point for a rebuild as some of the bearings are sounding noisy.

Had a slight leak on my rocker cover gasket so whipped it off and fixed it. Check out how bloody clean it is in there! 40 year old engine! I was shocked! Test fitting the wheels on the car to see if my guesstimate on lip sizes were going to work. Then it as tyre mounting day! Ordered some slightly wider and taller tyres as the rear wheels were 7.5" and now are 8.5". 195/60/14 Advan A048. Such sexy tyres. And here's them fitted! They actually fit perfectly! Very happy with the tyre size! Went to the 'Japanese Performance' show at Stoneleigh Park. Really cool event being indoors! Ended up winning 'Best Toyota'! Very surprised and very happy! Now I'd finished the journey of building up those Riversides to look like my Equips, guess what I found! BLOODY TYPICAL! So I bought them anyways, couldn't turn them down really as they are so hard to find. So I'll be re lipping these at some point too!

I bought some more old Equip centre caps to make them look like my Equip sprit 11's as much as possible. I have been looking for another pair for about a year now and I just can't find another pair so I've been making these similar designed Riversides look like them. Pretty similar eh! Close enough! Haha Went for a drive to Poole, the sky was really cool that evening! Had the artwork printed into a 3ft sticker! Some company working for Shell UK took some video of my car at Beaulieu at the Simply Japanese event there. Hopefully it's not too cheesy!

More picture whoring. Attended JapDay at Castle Combe with my club and I ended up winning 'Car Of The Show'! Very surprised but very pleased also! It was a brilliant day, it was like the old Japfest at Combe before It got too busy. Won a decent sized trophy and a goody bag! Next show was Players Classic at the wonderful Goodwood. Always a lovely day out there and the quality of cars is very high. Even got papped by SpeedHunters! Not really spent much money on bits recently apart from winning a pair of wheels. Riverside 109's Won them for £67 haha gotta love a Japanese Auction Bargain! I'm going to re lip them to 8.5" wide and make them look as much like my other pair of Work Equip Spirit 11's as I can. As I can't find another pair at the moment. Also I've been wanting my roll cage to be red for ages now so I bought some vinyl and wrapped it! Came out great! Kept the original decals too. Just need to get the rear bars made up for it now. Oh and a guy on Instagram (@keithmeasures) drew this for me which I absolutely love!
