All good then, nothing wrong with a good quality fake!
Is it lowered or on standard suspension? From the pics at least it looks to sit better than mine. Just wondered if the J suspension was different to the UK.

Let me help. If any of the following points don't apply to you, don't buy the car.
* I want to buy it. * I think the price is appropriate. * I have enough spare money to buy the car and retrieve it to storage. * I have suitable storage space. * I have a reasonable idea of and funding for what I want to do with such a vehicle. * I will not get into trouble with SWMBO *OR* I am willing to put up with arguments for a while for the sake of owning the car.
If you are all of those, buy it.

Sounds fairly open and shut to me. Cars coming uphill have right of way anyway.

Side question, is it likely to sell out? This would be my first time, but I've not booked a holiday yet this year so I don't know if I can go...

It's a pain, but you should check any worthless car if you want to insure it. Cat D repaired doesn't show on the log book, but if you insure it without declaring it has been written off (even unknowingly) the car is effectively uninsured.

Why not? I'm slowly collecting parts to build a similar thing inside a Marshall stack TV/Media Centre + record and video collection in one of these -

Possibly getting a bit extravagant here, but could the filter be moved? A cone filter on the end of the inlet track instead of on top of the carb?

Is an impressive looking thing at first glance. The aero looks like (not even very good) guess work to me though. Nice to see another RS200 aiming for the Pikes Peak though Oh, and you think that splitter is big? Also interesting to see this attempt at a rear splitter -

I'm 21, a car nut, and wouldn't know a pre-Jag Daimler if it slapped me in the face.
I dare say that even if I did, my typically 21 year old requirements of: 1. Cheap 2: Sporty (if not fast) 3. Cheap
...wouldn't be fulfilled in the cars I've seen in this thread. If they were cheap, then 2 out of 3 might swing it.

Looks mental - but I've seen bigger drive belts on a bike! I've no idea how it could possibly work, how did they think it was a good idea? I bet there's a beetle engine in the boot wouldn't want to get that chrome mucky from running anyway.

I really don't know how I feel about this one Normally I'm all for offensive, no-fxxxs-given conversions of valuable cars, but this one just doesn't sit right. Also, I think the car looks sad in the first pic, maybe that's it? EDIT: actually read the rest of the thread. I can now verify this is awesome.

Not many cars can pull off a whale tail like that, I like it! Well balanced as a package (stylistically), even if it's not to my taste!

I really like that '02. Awesome performance along with awesome looks. Extra cool IMO, as it doesn't pander to the bufty or rat schools. Just comes as it is
