bigger = less travel, firmer feeling.
smaller = higher force, a little more give.
However if you change the caliper piston size, that may necessitate a change as well.

Iwhat is the secret to keeping an (excellent) forum from being dwindled by Facebook? People realising that FB Groups are curse word and will never function as well as even a basic forum structure can and have done for many many years.

careful of driveshaft angles and clearances if you start moving engines about, guessing its particularly low already so angles are less of a concern but clearance still wouldbe.

no, it's inside a rubber cover which is accessible from inside, you'll need to remove the gearstick suttopund then you'll see a metal plate with a series of nuts on captive studs.
typically as its covered by the rubber thingy though these actually wear out not seize up.
the most common issue is the quadrant on the subframe, people take them apart and forget or don't realise that the thicker washer is necessary to stop the thinner washer being deformed against the hole in the post.
whilst youre under there make sure the 13mm nut inside the subframe on the ball pivot is tight and the R clip is in place on the larger rod part of the mechanism.

I have been hearing less and less good things about Mocal stuff lately, due to the fact that they no longer make stuff in the uk, probably better off getting the 635 cooler you mentioned if its possible, or a different brand like setrab who are very highly regarded. The big issue we found with a dash like a stack (on a rally car) was it is a pain in the to have a quick glance at what the temps are, an array of standard analogue dials clocked appropriately is much easier to see an issue well before the warning light starts flashing, at which point its just warning of actual death of engine, not a lift off now before something bad happens warning!

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Car-Wire-Electrical-Terminals-Connectors-Heat-Shrink-Tube-Sleeving-Kit-Set/152371387045the heatshrink solder sleeves look neat, much cheaper than the Wurth branded ones, some oem's use them. not found any non insulated inline crimps you could heatshrink over to make a purely mechanical join, though you could just heatshrink over the normal red and blue crimps. best practice if possible is to just crimp new pins onto the loom and fit your wires to the loom connector, but that relies on the donor loom being long enough.

yep, famed as mechanics only ever see the shagged ones when they're totally shagged, the cared for vehicles just keep on trucking and you don't remember them as they're just little jobs every now and then.

it does seem even though it is just a GM alternator that they are extortionately expensive, labour will be a small part of that job though it is a little fiddly being at the back of the engine its not as bad as a Zafira with its really high scuttle panel and wings.
personally I;d take it off myself and find someone to fix it, or even fix it myself.
there's a lot on ebay really cheap though.

doing something wrong if it really takes that long, 3 ton low jack and youll get one end up and on stands in no time.
however i never like using 4 stands, though i do have use of a 2 poster which is what I wouls get if you were looking to spenda grand.

that was my experience with them in my E34, nice clear light and good pattern, but nowhere near as good as a half decent halfords halogen/xenon bulb.
giving them a damn good clean is the best thing you can do, and making sure they're pointing in the right direction.

Do you mean the yellow zinc passivated steel ones? never seen brass used.
my preference is oem steel fittings, they are much more corrosion resistant than the cheap motorfactor ones, a bit of grease also helps massively, which is something most people don't seem to bother with at all.

not particularly imaginative but I've used it across so many forums and for so long now I think its here to stay, unless I use the nickname my mum had for me on a forum she was on, and I adopted for my Twitter account.
I'm a welshman and I signed up to the Peugeot Sport official owners club about 12-13 years ago after buying a 205 gti.
