And so it begins. engine collected. 2.8 m52 non nikasil block m50 proper 2.8 inlet zf box complete with shortshift front half prop x brace CDA intake full stainless exhaust plus manifolds (although centre section is fuggared may decat ?) was a trek but was great seeing the sights on the way. its a non nikasil block too I believe which is great. needs a lot doing to it to get to my standard. proper m50 fitting kit, new clutch etc etc . to my surprise came with stainless exhaust manifolds as well as complete system and cats! the guy I bought it from despite telling him to get it prepared ready for us to just hoist up and away really didn't listen, plus I think I found a new love for berlingo vans absolutely typically French and adoreable lol anyway here is the picture that not only got me into trouble with the rents ( sorry not sorry) but will probably be much the same on the tarmac too! thanks for reading m52 by

Glad to see you’re keeping it! When do you expect to get the old engine out and make a start on getting the new one in? Thanks fella, well to do the conversion i need to get my mk1 cortina up and running to get it ot my garage to get this in. I'm hoping to get it all done in August. Just info and parts sourcing at the moment, cant wait to pick the lump up and eventually hear it roar into life! Looking better and better Gav! Cheers John, hope all is well your end !

well, I nearly sold this, then I backed out (stupidly or not ,you decide), then to re ignite my spannering I have decided to make it become "The Ultimate Driving Machine" …. Yes, that means it is going to get a m52b28 lump in it (2.8 straight 6 to those who are not BM nuts!). this is not only to reignite the passion for the car. it is also because the current lump although the bones of the engine is great needs a bit of tlc. it currently needs a clutch as it is low and the release bearing is really noisey, it also needs engine and gearbox mounts.. so to do the engine and gearbox mounts I may as well, you know, "take the engine out to do these items"(then to be replaced with 2 more cylinders and the new mounts also lol) currently put a deposit down on a complete package, has an m50 manifold on it and a few other goodies. its also in Wales.. road trip ! But as I do I will go through it lightly and upgrade a few things as we go along, nothing mental, but just keep it sensible. deciding weather to bin the bmw rad and put an alloy one and expansion tank in? also not got photos but I will get some sourced another tan interior for the tan leather door cards and all the tan rear trim! and have also changed the mang steering wheel for a 'personal' leather one with a proper boss. (looks like an OMP wheel but leather and really nice quality) Here's a photo of it again (taken on my potato iPhone. must bust out the proper camera one day), I have changed done a few things to the front of the car if you notice ..? (pre facelift nose cone with smaller kidneys, numberplate delete and a totally legal (leul) sticky tiny plate ) bm 1 by bm by till next time , which will be hopefully an swap update , cheers

Never ever going to actually build the car I wanted these to go on , so they really can go now as no point. 3 yes only three wheels. plenty on ebay (usa) to source the correct 4th front wheel. or this set is great if you want to create a set of 9.5's? anyway all three are straight undamaged and not been repaired or anything. all have centre caps etc. 2x 9.5x16 and 1x 8.5x16 collection strictly only from London / kent could be a very cheap way to a set? or an even cheaper way to make your set a square set of 9.5's with one for a spare!? any interest please contact me on 07969696746 only. £150 the lot collected. corvette wheels by

whatever you do don't buy an alachi rack and pinion kit and just ring old ford autos for a proper fitting one! thank me later for this advice should you wish to listen! lol, good luck with the project, engines as said either a 997, 1198 or a 1340.
